We came for our honeymoon and were very disappointed.

t’s not a 5 starts hotel, we were supposed to stay 6 nights and left after the 1st night. There is no attention to details, the hotel is degradated and services is not high standard as it should be. We came for our honeymoon and were very disappointed.

Summertime Fun

Well waited one week and headed here after Hurricane Beryl. This resort never misses a beat. This is low season and there wasn’t an entree missing from our last stay . This is a resort that puts its best foot forward every day. As beautiful as it is ,this resort can hang its hat on service. From the minute Julio ( best front door man ever) greets you until you regettably leave ,you are catered to,welcomed and sincerely appreciated. We stayed in a beach accommodation where Daniel was our butler. I have literally watched this guy go from a young man who would do anything for a guest to now a polished personal assistant to each of his guests. The bartenders at Hix bar are a joy to drink with.Then at La Laguna Dorian provides the best personal Tequila tastings. Actually think I might have met the next Mrs.H while there one night. Which makes you think Anything is possible here. Of course all of this wouldn’t exist without quality management. One excellent example is a gentleman named Cain Monroy. We speak each visit and you can hear the dedication he has for the resort. The best part is we get to enjoy it. Regards, Wm.Halowack

Third visit, it keeps getting better!!

This is our third visit to the Fairmont Mayakoba, and again we left even more in love with this place if that’s even possible. The whole Fairmont Mayakoba family made sure that we had the best experience in the short time we had there. Even though we had to change our plans last minute due to the hurricane Beryl, we made it there the very next weekend, and the hotel was in pristine condition, you wouldn’t have known the were affected by a hurricane just the week before. I have to thank Renata Villar from Reservations, she was great helping me schedule and reschedule my reservations. Viviana Jukawa from Mayakoba Experiences helped me with transportation and tours, and made sure everything was ready and on time. And last but not least, Jessica Martínez our concierge, she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, helped me with every single detail making sure we had exactly what we were asking for. Thank you to the whole Fairmont Mayakoba family, we’re looking forward to seeing you all again real soon!!

Worst experience

Reservation from July 2nd through July 6th. I called you July 1st and you didn't say anything about emergency measures related to the hurricane. On July 2nd just before my flight you sent me an email saying that you had all my information and that you were happily waiting for us to arrive. Then July 2nd in the afternoon during our check in you told us we needed to leave by Thursday because of the hurricane. We could have save thousands of dollars if you just had communicated this BEFORE the trip. We flew with a baby and that wasn't easy. We lost the money for the flight and the hotel (you claimed no refunds from hotel since we booked with a third party). Never again.

Amazing vacation

Everyone and everything is amazing at the Fairmont Myakoba. At check in, our luggages were already placed in our room while we enjoyed the pool/beach. We had breakfast by the beach and Joyce always sat us at a table we loved, with a beach view. Alex our server was amazing. Christian at the beach bar was incredible, with the most amazing drinks! Lunch was delicious as we sat around the bar with the swing. Everyone was helpful and attentive as we went kayaking and paddle boarding several times in the day. We did get stuck at the resort during hurricane Barryl, and the hotel went above and beyond to make sure everyone was safe and taken care of. Fabian at concierge even texted us when we came back to make sure we landed safely. We treasure all of our memories and can’t wait to come back. Sorry if I have forgotten anyone’s names, but everyone we encountered at this hotel was amazing! Oliver at valet even remembered us from our stay 2 years ago! The grounds of this hotel is truly beautiful and not to be missed!
