This hotel is absolutely amazing, absolutely first class from the moment you arrive until you leave. I stayed in a suite that was so spacious with a kitchen, dining areas, lounge area, huge bedroom and bathroom as well as 2 balconies. One of the balconies was oceanfront and I just wanted to sit out there for hours. The rooftop bar is fantastic, the views over the ocean are amazing, night and day. The pool is also fabulous, the sun loungers are so comfortable. The food in the hotel is great too. The staff were just so friendly and helpful whenever I needed anything. The location is so good, the train station is very close if you want to take a journey to San Diego or LA. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel, great staff, great location, but no work desk in the rooms. There was no way to setup my laptop and portable monitor for a few hours of needed work...There are no desks in any of the rooms, including the spacious suites. If you are on pure no work vacation, perfect place. If you need to work from your room, book something else.

Wonderful property with large rooms and amazing staff. Amazing location by the Pier and views. Strongly recommend for a nice waterfront stay in a beautiful rooftop bar! Central to walking and restaurants with many bars close by for any type of food or drink that you would want to try!

The location is prime. Boardwalk is across the hotel. The furnishings in the rooms are excellent quality, including the patio furnitures. The room is spacious, hard floors. I love that they provide 2 robes and bathroom slippers. Water is complimentary and they have ice/water machine in each floor. We got the ocean view room and it was a few steps away from the ocean and people watching. Customer service is top notch all over. The pool area is provided with thick padded, quality lounge chairs and umbrellas. They also have a hot tub. Pool and hot tub overlooking the ocean. The roof top area is a very nice place to hang out with comfortable sofa chairs and some have fire tables. Area of improvement: food selections are limited and lacking in flavor at the pool side. I suggest they add burgers, pizza, fish tacos. Surprisingly, they have cold coffee but no hot coffee. Cocktails are watered down and flavor just ok. But overall, it’s a high end hotel and I recommend it.

Everything about this hotel is exceptional. Pre arrival communication, benefits of world of Hyatt and Hyatt Prive, rooftop bar, location, staff, complimentary workout, even refillable water bottles with good water on each floor rather than consistently paying for disposable bottles and creating waste.
