the space is historic, location is fantastic, the front desk staff and valets went above and beyond and made our stay truly memorable
Fleas!!!

I was really looking forward to my stay, but unfortunately my experience was impacted by a serious issue. On my first night, I discovered multiple bites on my body and later learned that my room tested positive for fleas after an investigation by the hotel. This was extremely uncomfortable and upsetting, and it really put a damper on my entire trip. The staff were polite and apologetic when I reported the issue, and they did switch my room, remove the destination fee, and offer a complimentary upgrade. I appreciated their professionalism in how they handled the moment. However, considering the severity of the situation — being bitten in my hotel bed and having to deal with the anxiety and discomfort that followed — I do feel that more could have been done to make things right. Overall, while the staff’s attitude was kind, the compensation did not match the impact this incident had on my stay. I hope the hotel takes additional steps to prevent this from happening to future guests.
Wonderful Stay

The location of the hotel was close to the piers. The valet service was on point and the workers there were very helpful. Checking in was quick and smooth. Food was decent as well. The only downside was the bed wasn’t the best, and both myself partner and I woke up with back aches.

Anniversary Weekend at the Embarcadero

The Hyatt Regency Embarcadero is always my first choice when visiting San Francisco. The location is unbeatable, with beautiful Bay and city views from the rooms. It’s in the Financial District and within walking distance of the Ferry, the Ferry Building, the Amtrak drop-off point, and about a mile from the Giants ballpark.
