The Hyatt is centrally located in the financial district of San Francisco. It is across the ferry building and walkable to many attractions. The hotel is spacious, and the staff is responsive. I did not hear other guests while in the room. Since it is in the heart of SF, food is pricey. There is a Safeway within walking distance if you want to create simple meals of yogurt parfaits, deli sandwiches, etc. We were there for a Mystery Writers Conference so there were stiffs to be discovered. Fun! Pro-tip - see if you can snag a Regency Club access. In that room, besides the rotating view of SF, there are snacks 24/7.

Great Hotel in financial District. Beautiful Atrium and the rooms are Expertly managed. Housekeeping is "top notch".

I stayed at this property during Super Bowl week for one night. Staff was friendly, a couple issues between cleanliness of my room and inappropriately marked times for dining but the issue was handled sufficiently by management. If staying here be prepared to eat ahead of time if you’re having late night activities as all dining in the hotel closes before 10pm and being in the business district, there’s nothing around in walking distance open beyond around 7-8p. This is a very very large property, my room was a long walk from closest elevator being in a corner. It is very well decorated and a lot of neat additions such as glass elevator. I’d say it’s more geared toward business than a romantic weekend or family appropriate, though.

We had a fantastic experience at this hotel. I was there for a business convention, but brought my husband and daughter so they could explore SF. Thanks to the event's manager Joey Ilagan, we got a great room and personalized attention. The rooms are spacious and well-designed. There were plenty of places to relax in the large lobby. The Regency Club offered a terrific range of eating options. The location is unmatched. It was easier to get everywhere we wanted to go because the hotel is located at a transportation hub. Beautiful Charles O. Perry sculpture, hideous architecture. Maybe after they bulldoze the fountain that looks like abandoned ductwork (outside the hotel), they can save the Perry sculpture, raze the building and start fresh.
