Love the brutalist architecture, the shear scale of the building is so impressive. Jasmine on the front desk nights teams was so helpful and welcoming. Just what you need after feeling the jet lag from a long haul flight. Her colleague was also lovely, we chatted about our shared love of the Philippines. Thanks HRSF!

This hotel is one of Hyatt's best. Unique brutalist architecture, superb location, and excellent upkeep. The breakfast (not cheap) is among the best I've had in US restaurants. They have taken a cue from European hotels.

Nice hotel with good views. Atrium is immense. Service was excellent during stay. Valet's and cleaning crew were nice. Front desk gets it.

Wow, this hotel is in an excellent location! Just steps from the BART and Muni public transportation system, and the Ferry building!! I was originally going to stay at the Hyatt Centric in Fisherman's Wharf but I'm so happy I ended up in the Embarcadero because it feels a bit less like a tourist trap. After staying at a Hyatt Regency in Monterey and being underwhelmed by their rooms, I was pleasantly surprised how nice my room was- extremely spacious with a couch, nice bedding, nice lighting throughout, and I had a (partial) bay view and could see Alcatraz from my room which was really cool! The lobby is gorgeous and restaurant is convenient. I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.

Location of hotel was great. Behind the hotel was the Ferry Building. Outside of the building to the left the California street cable cars. Connect to building to left the Embarcadero Center. Hotel rooms nice size and balcony view was nice. The lobby was absolutely beautiful. Staff was very friendly and nice.
