The location of the Hyatt Regency on Embarcadero cannot be beat. It's so close to so much stuff - restaurants, farmers markets, decent shopping etc. The staff is friendly and helpful (thank you for the hot water kettle). Water filter on the floor to refill water bottles is great. The shower in the room was disappointing. The lobby and the view up to the floors is pretty cool. I would stay here again if I went back to San Francisco.

We travel a lot and while I noticed some of the negative reviews calling out the hotel being dirty, bad location, etc, we didn't experience any of that. The location couldn't have been more perfect. You can get on the BART, cable cars or Waymo in a few steps. Valet will also get you a cab if you prefer. The lobby is great, very open and a pretty cool set up. There's a bar and a convenience store available, and every staff member we encountered was friendly. We also got a complimentary watermelon drink after checking in. We had a king bed on a high floor with a balcony. The bathroom: The shower had good pressure, and there's a bar that makes it easier to shave your legs. There's a make-up mirror, good lighting and great counter space. We weren't a fan of the bathing products provided, but we always bring our own just in case. The room: Had a safe, a coffee maker, good closet space with a mirror and nearby outlet outside the bathroom which is something we appreciate so we can get ready at the same time. There's a lot of places you can set your things as well. The refrigerator was nice & cold, something we've found rare in hotels. The bed was very comfortable, mattress and pillows were great. The balcony: So spacious and private, it was perfect for us! We had a view of piers 1 & 3 and the bay, however there isn't any cover if you need it. If you like the bar scene, which we do, the Financial District pretty much shuts down on Sat/Sun, so you'll have to go about a mile away to enjoy that, but that wasn't an issue. There was some kind of protest nearby that we could hear very clearly during the day, however at night we didn't have any issues with noise or sleeping. We will absolutely stay there again!

Hotel is clean very well kept up and staff is attentive to guests needs. Options onsite for food. Gym is nice and has a very good selection of machines and free weights. Also a good large size.

Beautiful hotel with many amenities. Friendly and accommodating staff. Friends and I came for the Bay to Breakers. Busy but felt open and comfortable.

Excellent service received by the whole staff: very attentive and responsive to my needs. When traveling for business, sometime you need quick to change plans and get help. The staff was most gracious and always ready to help. The environment is always welcoming and efficient, and the location is what makes a trip to San Francisco memorable.
