Hyatt Regency San Francisco Wedding Block
Alexander Lizar... P (Oakland, California) on Sep 16, 2023
We booked 2 suites and 14 rooms for our wedding block for a September 1st wedding. We had booked the block from August 31st to September 4th. From the beginning it was a pleasure working with every member of the staff that we encountered. That includes just working with the sales team to book the block. Valet, bellhop, concierge, cleaning, and everyone else we encountered was truly wonderful and helpful to every need we had. Every guest of ours who also stayed at the Hyatt Regency also had nothing but positive feedback about their stay and we would absolutely recommend this location to anyone. 5 Embarcadero Center is also right off the Bay Bridge and near the Embarcadero BART/MUNI station making it easily accessible to travelers both local and foreign. It is in a beautiful location with amazing views of the Bay Bridge and other San Francisco landmarks. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable and we never found ourselves wanting for more during our stay. It wasn't our first stay here and it won't be our last!
Good location but hotel parking and fees are way to high. Parking is more than double of nearby parking structures for o

Good location but parking fee is out of sight and room air conditioning short cycling kept me up all night my last night. Every 7 minutes, 2 minutes of cooling then wait for 5 minutes and the repeat. I watched the clock all night.

Been there many times. Fantastic location, great views, amazing lobby and bar, architecturally one of the most beautiful hotels in San Francisco and all the staff are so friendly and helpful! We will be back soon. Thank you!

I was just so excited to be staying in my first Hyatt Regency. Did not live up to its expectations. Whilst the hotel itself is very nice and in a great location, the choice of food was deplorable. One very tiny cafe, and while the food was good, the menu was something you would expect in a two star hotel. Coffee, as per American standards was abysmal. And on check in, we were immediately annoyed by an up-sell. $100 per day to be able to go to the top floor......... seriously ???
Dirty room upon checking in

Rude staff and dirty room. Great location but the area has a stench from the transients. Local government needs to help the financial district to get back on its feet. The pier is next to hotel with a great view of the bridge.
