The staff were excellent, willing to help and very pleasant. We were not told that the Compass Cafe was closed either while making reservations or when we checked in. Rum runners and Harry’s had good food and drinks but it was what I consider bar food but not a restaurant for dining which made our stay a little inconvenient since we had to go off property to have a decent dinner. The room was clean and the view was fantastic, the furnature in the room was worn and very beat up especially the sleeper sofa in the living room area. It was so stained and worn that the cushion allowed the bed frame underneath to penetrate and cause an uncomfortable sitting experience. The track to the balcony sliding doors were very worn and un-lubercated that it made it very difficult to open or close. There was no where to sit comfortably and have a in room dinner, I recommend placing a small table with two chairs in the living area to make in room dining a little more comfortable .The tub had a soft spot on the base that felt like I was going to fall thru and made it difficult to enter and exit and should have a hand rail.

Jillian Dzieciol did an amazing job coaching especially for us beginners, she was extremely nice and very informative. Would absolutely recommend her for her yoga class!

We had a great stay at Sirata Beach Resort. The water is beautiful, and we are a beach loving family so that was important to us. The services and family activities were an added bonus. I loved the beach yoga hosted by Jillia Dzieciol. It was a beautiful experience and Jillian was a bright and friendly guide.
Memorable Stay for our Budget
Batkinsvermont (Saint Johnsbury, Vermont) on Apr 26, 2024
Overall we had a nice stay, centrally located, near grocery store, coffee shop and liquor store. The property itself was nice, great beach vibe and love that it is handicapped accessible with boardwalks. The rooms need some cosmetic updates. The room met our needs but they were small, bathroom needs updating and we arrived with sand in our bed. I have stayed at Sirata in the past and experience was better. One quick note, two restaurants on premises but they are both the same menu, felt that was a misleading. Drinks were good. Chairs/umbrella on beach too expensive per day. Tip: Buy a chair at the local grocery store for $29 and use it for the week, then donate it. Chairs and umbrellas are $49 per day for 2 people, that is outrageous. Local grocery store has everything you need at local prices, we shopped for snacks there and Dollar Store next door, bought water, drinks and sunscreen, that helped with food budget. Overall, a good property if you are on a budget.
Resort needs attention

The entire bathroom floor was in need of being re- secured. Felt uneasy while walking on it. Mentioned concern to staff and got “ we’ll mention to management “ no one came to look at room concerns nor any additional follow up. General cleaning in room needs improvement. Room #2230 for future visits is not recommended.
