I'd stayed at the Westin a handful of times in the past and it's always been a great spot. Location, amenities and cleanliness.....but man, time's have changed. The hotel is exhausted. Everything was beat up and not managed like it used to be. We had 2 rooms which cost us $2000 and both rooms were almost-pathetic. The beds felt decades old, the furniture was landfill-worthy and the general upkeep of the room was non-existent. Peeling paint, peeling wallpaper, busted wood trims, dirty kitchen area. The pull-out in my kids room was by far the worst 'bed' I've ever laid down on. The pool was closed for cleaning on a sunny Saturday at 3pm for the hour and a bit we were down there. Hot tub was the only option. A hugely disappointing stay at what once-was the cream of the crop hotel in Whistler. I'd avoid it like the plague until you see "under renovation" or "renovation competed".

Staff are amazing. Room got upgraded & both the room & views were amazing. I was flushed upon arrival & given a cool bottle of water. Plenty of bottled water inside rooms & given on departure. Incredible service. Was ill when my room was serviced & later a pot of Camomile tea was delivered to me. Location is amazing as you are right near the Whistler Mountain Gondola as well as the village. Had the best time. The staff really made me feel special & really took great care of me. Highly recommended staying here. Definitely one of, if not the best place I have ever stayed in all my world travels.

A centrally located hotel within the Whistler Village, the hotel is built some decades ago but still fares well. Rooms are generous and staff are super friendly and helpful. We are impressed by the gym and laundry facilities ($2.50 for each of the wash and dryer- buy detergent).

Stayed 1 night as part of a Rocky Mountaineer trip. Not sure how much service to attribute to RM v Westin but everything excellent. Smooth check in even though early. Efficient baggage handling. Good location. Everything wanted to see in village easily walkable. Room clean and very comfortable. Enjoyed fireplace

Expected much better for a hotel of this price point. The staff was not attentive and well trained. They forced us to valet our skis, not mentioning that it was an extra charge. The room was the dirtiest for a 4-star hotel I’ve ever seen. There was dust in the corners of the room that weren’t cleaned off, there was a brown stain on the bedsheets. The zipper of the packaging of the comforter fell off and we were unable to unzip it, bad quality. The tap water in the hotel was full of white mist and looks more like milk than water, and the air conditioner doesn’t work! I had better experiences at $130 a night hotels than this $330 a night hotel. Do not stay here, the Pan Pacific nearby is much better.
