This is the first time we have stayed at the Westin in Whistler. We loved our room! Wonderful views, quiet, great housekeeping, and the kitchen was a huge plus! Our check-in was fast and efficient and we zipped right up to our room.
We had the breakfast buffet most days and the food was delicious! Lots of variety including omelettes, pancakes, waffles, etc. we also had dinner one night which was great! The servers were all very nice and accommodated any request. We had a couple of minor maintenance issues which were quickly dealt with.
The service from EVERYONE at this hotel was five star. We are Titanium Elite with Marriott and know the difference. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will be back next year.

Wow what a wonderful hotel. Check in went smooth, secure parking and nice big rooms. Pool was great, hot tub was not hot at all, but fantastic views. Only disappointment in 5 days, pillows where way to soft, tweeked my neck. Cleaning staff were fantastic, overall 9.999 out of 10.
Horrible feel to have a graffiti facing room with literally a basement feeling..

Comming here for a weeklong business stay.
Upon arrival, since I came from Europe, I had 9 hour jetlag, I ask to have a room facing west to make sure I’d be able to catch up with daylight availability and be functional for my workweek.
They offered me a room with the worst of what I asked.. (as you can see in the picture…) with even a graffiti facing my window… it was supposed to be a rewarding week to come here and I feel I did all this distance to feel I’m in the middle of a city with graffiti.. this is unacceptable!
They told me they would try to find something else for me but then, they already apologized in case they were not able to get me something else for the whole rest of my week…
Westin was one of my favourite hotel chain (and I travel very often)… but with this, they lost my respect.

Westin Hotels & Resorts by Marriott Hotels call center and customer service are among the worst and most disorganized I have ever seen. Misunderstandings abound. Multiple charges on my credit card, and every time I call, a different person explains to me something different about my charges. All in all, a complete disaster.

I booked two rooms for me and my friend on May 17. I was directed to the Marriott central line, the gentleman who helped me to make the reservation told me I would be able to cancel my reservation 3 days prior to my arrival date without any penalty. I had NEVER received any confirmation email until I called back the second time to cancel my reservation (because I didn’t hear back from the hotel). It turned out the gentleman mis-typed both me and my friend’s emails. Also, Emma, the hotel reservation agent, told me my reservation was under group discount and it was 30-day cancellation policy. I told them that this was not my fault as I wasn’t informed the 30-day cancellation policy at the beginning nor I got any confirmation email from them, and asked for refund or at least some reimbursement. The answer I got from the hotel is a NO. I kept calling back to find out the right person who can help me to sort this out, but no luck. Just wasted my time!
Avoid this hotel at all cost unless you want to deal with reservation mess.
