A comfortable room, that’s actually a small self-contained studio apartment with crockery, cooking gear etc; there is even a fireplace. Very comfortable bed.

On our way from Vancouver to Clinton to stay at a ranch, we received emergency alerts that due to Wildfires, the ranch was being evacuated. Due to this we turned back and headed for Whistler. En-route I tried to call the Westin at Whistler to try and arrange short notice rooms until we could re-assess our plans. Due to our location we were struggling to get mobile signal and I couldn't get my call to connect. Within a few minutes I received a call from the Westin asking if i had been trying to get in contact, it was a lovely girl called Katie, who had seen that it was a UK mobile trying and failing to connect. I explained the situation and within 10 minutes she had spoken to her manager, called me back and arranged 2 beautiful rooms for us at a fantastic rate. We cannot thank Katie or the Westin enough for how they dealt with us at a stressful time. Due to having to re-arrange a number of plans we decided to stay an extra night so our tour operator could make arrangements for us and Katie again moved some things around so we could keep our rooms. The rooms were beautiful, with large comfortable beds, a great kitchen with everything you needed and a stunning view. We ate and had drinks in the hotel bar called Fireroc and this was great, gorgeous food lovely staff. Overall a brilliant hotel with exceptional service, thank you

This is a mixed review; the location and staff at this facility are great. The rooms and amenities are average. The location is perfect; close to the lifts, food, shops…and the staff was super friendly. The rooms leave a bit to be desired. It reminded us of a timeshare, comfortable but small and outdated. The shower was tiny, like a cruise ship. The onsite food was ok. The pool area is very small. The bar is well staffed and stocked, but small. Overall, we had a good stay, but will most likely try another place next time in Whistler.

After considering the Fairmont and Four Seasons, we booked the Westin due to its location right next to Whistler Village and were very glad we did. We had a large, one bedroom suite with a balcony overlooking the mountains. The sofa bed in the living room was queen sized and comfortable. The room had a fully equipped kitchenette with full-sized fridge, which was very useful. There was even a fireplace which made the room nice and cosy. Being able to walk straight out into the village was wonderful and meant we could easily access all the restaurants and shops of Whistler.
A whistle stop review! ;)

Wonderful service from start to finish - in particular Cate at reception, who did a wonderful job of making us feel welcome and comfortable. The room was spacious and well equipped. The AC was great, the bed was comfy, and the balcony a great addition! A special thank you for the honeymoon welcome plate and bubbles - we chose the best place to celebrate during our Rocky Mountain adventure. Parking for guests is under the hotel - which is great for those who want to leave the car be for a few days. The hotel is right in the village with plenty of activities to do nearby. We’d stay again in a heartbeat!
