Best resort in all of Whistler! Location, rooms, restaurants, convenience!l and the fantastic team !! Always 10/10

Hands down Best Resort in all of Whistler!!! 5 star luxury in the best location with the most friendly and professional staff. We have been visiting for over 20 years and always have an amazing time. If you haven’t been to whistler or stayed here I would highly recommend visiting. The rooms and suites are fantastic. Spacious and extremely clean with very comfortable beds. The resort has washers and dryers on each floor to use. I can’t stress enough how fantastic and convenient the location is. There is a fantastic ski shop in the lobby and the gondola is only steps from the resort. Being able to check your skies at the base of the mountain is fantastic and the restaurants and food is always 10/10. Definitely worth checking out. A huge thank you to the entire Westin whistler team over the last two decades. And a big shout out to the legendary Andrew Misquitta who has always bent over backwards to ensure we had everything we ever needed wanted wished for or desired. And additionally the wonderful Michael Bitcon who is doing a wonderful job during his stewardship at the reins of this great dame of whistler.

NOT A WESTIN!

BUYER BEWARE! READ ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS HERE ON GOOGLE. THERE IS A THEME! Management is not interested in making sure their sales correlate with customer experience. I have emailed my concerns with my stay over the last few months only to be gaslit and told everything that happened during my stay was standard procedure. I am reading all the negative reviews that have received response on this platform from the hotel like they are trying to make amends for your bad stays, they are not. I can guarantee that every comment, if it was even followed up by an email stated "this did not happen and this is our brands standard". Never have I been gaslit by a hotel before, but maybe it's time to clean house on the management. I have stayed at varying westins around the world and know the standard they uphold, hence the high rates they charge. This westin needs to lose its title brand as it is not upholding any of the standards of the brand. - no call when room was ready - no upgrade available - not even a thank you for being titanium - no kits available for paid use as specifically part of the brand allure - parking oversold, No spots available(managed by outside company) fail, which turned to confusion and threatening calls from the front desk, which they refuse to acknowledge they did - waited 45 minutes at breakfast to even get a server to look at us, buffet is great, if you can get coffee and drinks, now mind you every single other table around us was being served, but being 2 females maybe had something to do with it, because I can't figure out otherwise.. - no feather pillows across the brand, really? -aquafina water supplied in the room, really? You know the old show dinosaurs? I feel like the baby with a pot in my hand screaming, NOT A WESTIN, NOT A WESTIN, NOT A WESTIN @MARRIOTT I EMPLORE YOU TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS PROPERTY! THEY ARE NOT UPHOLDING THE STANDARDS AND THE MANAGEMENT NEEDS DONE SERIOUS TRAINING! Keep in mind I'm not just complaining. We stayed at the hilton next door the night before we checked in and it was what one could expect of that level hotel, and outshone the westin by leaps and bounds. Not to mention i stayed at the courtyard, the courtyard! In Nanaimo prior to coming to whistler and their customer services outshone this westin by leaps and bounds. Feather pillows, hand written note and a thank you basket! What i would have expected from the westin, not the courtyard! MAYBE THE COURTYARD MANAGEMENT IN NANAIMO CAN COME TRAIN THE WESTIN MANAGEMENT, BECAUSE THEY DO NOT HAVE IT! I AM NOT WRITING THIS REVIEW BECAUSE I EXPECT ANYTHING FROM THIS MANAGEMENT AFTER ALREADY HAVING SPOKEN TO 2 GUEST SERVICES MANAGERS IN THE LAST 3 MONTHS,I AM WRITING THIS SO HOPEFULLY PEOPLE WILL THINK TWICE ABOUT SPENDING THEIR POINTS, AWARD NIGHTS OR BETTER YET HARD EARNED DOLLARS ON A HOTEL THAT IS NOT WORTH IT. STAY AT THE HILTON NEXT DOOR, HECK STAY AT THE DELTA HOTEL! BUT FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY, DO NOT STAY AT THE WESTIN!

Perfect location for Whistler village. Lovely spacious clean rooms. Fantastic buffet breakfasts. The hospitality staff were all so welcoming. In particular Louis the chef and Ania and Alice went above and beyond . We arrived at the hotel after a long flight and transfer and the warmth and helpfulness of Cerys the receptionist started our stay in the best possible way.

Fantastic hotel in a great location

I spent a night here in a suite on the 9th floor. The suite itself was excellent and the views were something else. The bars and restaurants were pretty reasonably priced, considering the location. The breakfast was particularly good. All the staff from reception onwards were brilliant; extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the hotel itself and the resort of Whistler in general.

Luxury in Whistler

Great hotel had a fantastic room with kitchen facilities which enabled us to buy food and wine and cook a meal and eat on our balcony. Very roomy and relaxing. Enjoyed the stay and loved Whistler. Highly recommend for a luxury stay and being close to everything
