My second time staying at this resort. I had a lovely 2 week stay. My room was right on the beach with beautiful views of the ocean. All the staff were very friendly and made me feel welcome during my stay. The entertainment team ( Osniel, Tonito & Alex) went above and beyond to make sure everyone was enjoying their time by having lots of activities throughout the day. They offered Yoga, Aqua Gym, Dance Class and even a Spanish Lesson. Each night there was a show to attended as well. The bartenders in the lobby were fabulous too. I am looking forward to returning soon!

I love Cuba, the people are always so warm and welcoming. The hotel was great and our room was facing the ocean where we saw the most gorgeous sunsets. The only problem I would address is that A/C was not functioning during most of our stay and we were there during one of the hottest weeks of May. I would have appreciated a relocation at that point, we got our A/C back only on the last day of our stay. Otherwise, I recommend this resort, I would definitely go back!

From the moment we walked into the lobby, we were greeted with the most friendly staff. My husband and I cannot stop thinking about our vacation at Paradisus. Danielle and Stefanie at the front desk were always so helpful and kind. My husband surprised me with a vow renewal on the beach. Driatne, she was the events planner and helped us every step of the way. She made it so beautiful and memorable. Music, dancing on the beach, champagne, food. The beach was stunning, to say the least, like a massive swimming pool, white, soft sand. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas. Sandro and the servers at the beach bar were the best!! So much fun!!! And Fanny and the other lobby bar staff were exceptional! Our room was perfect, we were upgraded to oceanview and never had a problem with hot water or AC. Hope this next year goes fast... we can't wait to go back to Paradisus Varadero!!!

Half the restaurants/bars are not open, no working AC or hot water. Avoid the reserve area, it's not worth the extra. The toilet in the room wouldn't flush, the shower head fell off, and the fridge wouldn't work. If this is a premium resort in Varadero I'd hate to see the others. Beautiful beach

Almost every 5* reviev is fake. Almost all bad revievs are honest. I will make a video about this hotel and post it on YouTube for every one to avoid it. Trip form Poland costed a LOAD of money in my currency to go to Cuba and I feel genuine scammed. Choose different destoination for the same money... This hotel has great location but they ruined it… 3/4 of offered accomodies was not there. Half of the "hotel" staff should be replaced. They just wonder around, looking at their phones and doesn't care at all. Fire some people and give a raise to others that acctualy want to do their jobs. Sometimes it felt like the Staff is on vacation not me. Critical lack of menagment. It's unacceptable. NO stars hotel near Munich airport is better menaged than this absolute CIRCUS. Safety and fire hazards: Loose and exposed electrical wires all around "the hotel". Destroyed lamps. Uncovered cable and pipes pits. Broken tiles and other sharp object that could seriously injure someone. I would be concerned about my child safety if I had one... Food: It's not that they don't have food. They just don't buy products... They can't cook for nothig and they waste food because of lack of basic cooking knowlage. Lack of tea, bread and other basics on breakfast. I went to the lobby bar and they made me a tea because there was no tea in buffet. Meanwhile there were 3 different types of tea on Royal pool bar... Food is absolutly discusting. Birds are walking and picking on the food while buffet Staff is busy talking to eachother. They even recycle food... Yellow rice at lunch and the same rice with some shells at dinner- "THE PAELLA". THE RICE PAN WAS IN THE SAME SPOT. What a joke. Fish sticks on dinner - next they end up in SUSHI. No pizza but they have the oven. They made pancakes ONCE during our 10 day stay. Best I had was Pinaple, Mango, Ice Cream and banana chips at snack bar. At snack bar they serve HOT DOG SAUSAGES COOKED IN OIL, banana chips and sometimes sandwitches. Thats all. Nothing else. Basic hygiene: - lack of hot water and even water in rooms for 7 out of 9 days - shortage in toilet paper in first 3 days - smelly sheets and towels - smelly glasses - birds at food - mold and worms in bathroom Staff: - buffet - talking with eachother - asked for salt and pepper and i had to go to get it by myself - pool guy - pouring chlorine at 8 a.m just before guests start to walk around - gardeners - asspecialy two of them - standing near room balconies with hoodie (no visible company name) and with MATCHETE - "restaurants reservation point" - sitting on phone all day. We tried to make a reservation but the restaurants was allways full - Totally different approach on Royal part - every one was polite and hardworking Drinks: Just meh. They allways was missing something - one day cola, one day fanta one day lemonade. Beer was good. Juices - watery and bland. Beach: - very beautifull No hot water situation: For 9 days I took 3 hot showers in my room. After several complains I asked to let us use the shower in other part of the hotel. They gave us complementary room in Reseve part but there was no water at all… But thanks to David from Royal part we got complementary shower at Royal part. Other things: - no beach towels for 4 days - no minibar ( 2 beers in first day after that nothing for few days and next "fanta" but i had to catch minibar guys and take it from them) - foutains are full of thrash and dirty What was good: - Best regards to out room cleaning service - Jaani (maybe Jannnete) - wholesome lady. - Reception was almost allways proffesional and caring - I know that they have tied hands and sometimes can do nothing about the issues. Same thing with customer service. - Best regards to all the people working at lobby bar - they were polite and friendly - Beach is super nice Yep thats all.
