We are happy in Cuba and Varadero, is so beautiful here, weather and beach, people is very kind and helpful. We live varadero beach is amazing omg, food also is very good. We love Cuba and people.

Cuban people are great persons. Sol Palmeras is a very good hotel with good services, nice beach and the food is extraordinary!! Thank you everybody!

This was probably the worst place I have ever visited in my entire life! It is overrun by russians who do whatever they want and could you care less that there are other people around them. The staff of the resort can't even control them. My son had a chair thrown at him by a drunk russian lady. This lady was a problem all week and security did nothing about it. When my husband stepped in he was accosted by her drunk friends and her child. One russian man held one of his hands, while the other one punched him in the face. My husband now has a broken finger and a fat lip and most likely some broken teeth. The resort just let them continue to party on the patio. Do not visit this resort unless you want to be scrapping with russians the whole time. It is also not taken care of at all! I understand we were in cuba and their standards are way lower than Canadian standards but mold and broken toilets in the room is unacceptable. Broken toilet never was fixed the entire 7 days we were there. Not even sure if the rooms get cleaned between guests, found the wifi stub from previous guests on the floor in our room. This place should be less than a one star.

This is our favourite resort in Varadero. The staff are very friendly and they remember us each year we go there. The rooms have been renovated and they did amazing job. Contrary to most places in Cube this resort has very good food quality and options. Including lobesters and pool side bbq. The lobby itself his huge with a coffee shop serving best espresso and other drinks. the bar is open 24 hours. The beach front is very wide and lost of activities. over all its the best in Varadero.
