This was my 20th visit to Sol Palmeras and it just keeps improving with every visit. Most of the main hotel has been renovated in the last couple of years and many other features have been added. There is a bar being built close to the beach, scheduled to open at end of June, it is going to be a wonderful place to sit and have your favourite drink. This resort just celebrated its 35th anniversary and has the most repeat visitors of any in Varadero. People return 30, 40, 50+ times, one guest just had his 103rd visit! The buffet has many selections including roast beef, roast turkey and roast chicken plus port and fish. Many other dishes include, you will never go hungry. A special mention to Idlemis, Mabel, Diansy and Asair for their wonderful service, too many others to mention. The Lobby bar offer many drinks and excellent service. Thank you Raime, Jorge, Ernesto and Yunier, you all work so hard, Nivaldo at the coffee bar in the evenings serves up some delicious drinks..try his frappuccino! Can't forget Caridad, selling wine and spirits near the patio bar Wilbur, Dayana and Maria in the office work very hard to make sure everyone has the best vacation ever. Way too many to mention by name, these amazing staff members are the reason for so many repeat visitors. When you add a spectacular beach and amazing entertainment, I would never dream of going anywhere else Already planning my November trip.

Had the chance to stay at this hotel for a wedding. For a first timer in Cuba, the experience was enjoyable and unforgettable! The staff were very accommodating and attentive and Osiris, who was our personal concierge for the entire trip, made it a very special one. The service is exceptional, and the food is okay, but the rooms were comfortable and the access to the beach was amazing! I would definitely go again!

Ppl are lovely, rooms are a bit outdated but if you’ve traveled to Asia or other parts of the world that are developing countries, it’ll feel familiar. The resort food is ok, often times running out of certain foods so we went off resort to the restaurants and the food was superb. You just have to be willing to pay but so worth the money. Hotel staff was lovely but the front desk, my goodness. The attitude and the lack of is unreal. There was 2-3 men there that were so lovely and always had a smile. I think aside from them, a few of the staff there had permanent scowls lol If you want better customer service, id try the neighboring hotels. Varadero is super nice especially the beaches.

My name is Luba Kori and I was visiting for two weeks in April. This is my second time coming to this resort and I have to say that there are a lot of positive changes and improvements since 2023. I am an elderly person traveling alone. I would like to thank all the staff for their patience and care. Especially I am very thankful to Customer Service representative Dayana Martin for kindness and great help, I really appreciate!!! Very professional and resourceful. I enjoyed my vacation and hope to come back next year. Thank you
