Due to Hurricane Ian, for the safety of our guests and crew, WestJet has suspended operations to and from Orlando until at least Friday, September 30, and Fort Myers and Tampa until Saturday, October 1.
WestJet service update: Hurricane Ian – Florida operations

Due to Hurricane Ian, for the safety of our guests and crew, WestJet has suspended operations to and from Orlando until at least Friday, September 30, and Fort Myers and Tampa until Saturday, October 1. The following scheduled flights serving these destinations have been proactively cancelled and all impacted guests have been notified. Operations will only resume when it is safe.

We continue to monitor Hurricane Ian’s path closely and will make operational changes in the name of safety as required. In the meantime, we urge our guests to follow all emergency response instructions provided by local authorities. Guests travelling to or from Florida are also advised to check the status of their flights prior to leaving for the airport. 

Guests with reservations affected by the latest travel advisory can make voluntary changes to their itinerary that allows date/destination change free of charge or free cancellation. Fare difference will apply.
