Disappointing

We have stayed at many disney properties and have been on disney cruises and know the brand is usually great. We like the convenience and expext a clean and great experience for the price you pay. We stayed in the Frontier building this time. The room was clean went entering. It was small and dated. When we used the shower it had chipped tile, the grout was dirty and the overflow plate on the faucet wasn't attached. The sink had chips and looked dirty. The towels were thin and old. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. On our third night we came back to a dirty room, housekeeping skipped our services. I voiced my concerns when checking out and Natalie a supervisor was rude and did not want to hear the complaints. This was a very disappointing trip especially for the $800 plus a night we spent.
Disappointing and I'm a Disney fanatic

First off, the hotel staff was great, as you'd expect from Disney. And the location is fantastic for walking into the parks. Sadly, the hotel room was a huge disappointment, particularly at this price point. We stayed in the Frontier tower. When we first arrived, the sink was clogged and one of the lights in the room did not work. We called down and they sent someone to fix them. The phone handset didn't work. You had to use the speaker phone. The room was on the cool side. We set the temp to 73 and later 74, but it never got above 70. We had a room with two queen beds, but you could not sit on the edge of the bed without sliding off onto the floor. Hence, without a normal, supportive edge to the mattresses, it felt like you were sleeping in a double bed. I've stayed in hundreds of hotels in my life and I can honestly say I don't recall ever having a mattress with that problem before. There's no fan in the bathroom, which is annoying for multiple reasons. No one wants to hear you doing your business from out in the room, and when multiple people are showering, the third person is forced to be in a sauna. There's also no sink in the room with the shower and toilet, which is unhygienic. I had to crouch down in the shower to wash my hair and I'm only 6 feet tall. The sink had minimal water pressure. And you had the choice of water that was too hot to use, or cold water. There was no in between. If you turned on the warm water tap, the temp was too hot to keep your hand under the stream. If you then turned on the cold water tap, even very slightly, the temp instantly dropped to cool and then cold. No matter what you do from then on, you cannot get warm water back without closing both taps, and then turning on the hot water tap only. I won't get into the prices of things at the hotel's stores, because if you've ever visited Disney, you know what's coming. But overall, I would not stay here again. I believe you can stay offsite nearby for less and hopefully get a nicer room, and only walk a few minutes more. And since they've dropped the early entry benefit for staying onsite, you'd no longer be missing out on that.
