Very nice and clean room but even better the staff service and kindness of every one, from the people cleaning the rooms, through the waitress to the front desk, I personally highly recommend it.

If you go to reception and ever see Elizabeth Aceves “working” just wait for someone else. She is the wordy human being I’ve ever encountered in a hotel. We had booked a Premier room and she downgraded us without telling us so we had to change rooms the next day when other travellers told us we were in the wrong room. She then told us we couldn’t have a late checkout which was included as a Premier booking even though the hotel was not fully booked. When we complained she then lied and said the system must have been incorrect when she looked but the truth was she didn’t look! Apart from this horrendous individual, however, the hotel was ok. It could be so much better tho with the right customer serving staff. We would recommend the Westin next door where friends were staying - it was so much better.

The hotel is old and dated and had peeling paint and plaster. The bathroom was so gross that I could not shower in it. I wanted to move to another hotel, but was told there were no refunds at all so instead of losing over $1000, I decided to ask for a higher level room. I had to pay about $50 more per night but I could not stay in the room they had me in. The higher level room was marginally better. They put me in a room right next door to two rooms that were undergoing construction so it was noisy and they were using some chemical that was very strong. The smell didn't come into my room, but every time I left my room or came back, I had to hold my breath. The cleaning women were so noisy, I could hear them down the hall. There was no hot water to shower in the mornings, only lukewarm water. There was water drainage issues with hair in the drains. Finally, the smoke detector kept beeping and I couldn't figure out what the beeping noise was until I had packed all my bags and was ready to leave. All this and it was priced as a good hotel. I would not recommend this hotel at all.

The room quality was very, very poor. It was almost impossible to sleep. The staff are amazing! Great people.
