Glad we were only here 3 days.

Kenneth B (Los Angeles, California) on Jan 03, 2026

Food terrible all buffets and not great, most of the staff are unhappy and don’t care. The resort is very tired and needs a serious remodel. At least they do serve good brand alcohol. Glad we were only here 3 nights. One take away was beautiful sunsets but I have those at home.

It’s not great at all and not 5 Star

Ian J on Jan 03, 2026

I am amazed by the variance of reviews for this hotel. The location is fantastic with a great beach sharing with Sandy Lane. Some of the staff were lovely and attentive whilst many were surly and disinterested - their attitude reflects the low pay we learned. The food was not great - buffet often lacking replenishment. The bbq was singularly disappointing with undercooked food served to us on both occasions. Caroline the Manager did make a regular ‘sweep’ of the sunbed beach area most mornings but did not really listen or show huge concern on any issues raised. If this hotel was badged as a two star I would get it - the 5 star price does in no way reflect the experience. We will never return.

Relaxing week at Club Barbados

NJNativeMontvale (Hawthorne, New Jersey) on Dec 31, 2025

We recently spent a week at Club Barbados with the goal of simply unwinding from a busy year. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and ensured that everything we needed was available. Sherry from the Club's restaurant, in particular, was very attentive and made sure we had dinner reservations each night. The quality and variety of the food offerings exceeded my expectations of an all-inclusive facility. We attended the Managers Cocktail hour which occurs weekly and had pleasant conversations with several of the management team. The resort was not over-crowded and is well laid-out so that everything is a short walk from your room. We are already planning to return in 2026.

Excellent hotel for grown ups and adult kids

Y2043VHsaraf on Dec 31, 2025

Good traditional Bajan hotel. Hotel overlooks the sea and has watersports but doesn't really have a beach as its more a rocky headland. Rooms are not luxurious but of a good standard and very clean . Very nice balconies. Staff are friendly and nice. Special mention Bryan from waterworks, Devon from Piano Bar and Demetri from reception. Hotel is low rise and central bar and restaurant are pleasant. Food and drinks are good. We will go back . Walkable to Holetown. Adult only so sociable but different vibe to a child friendly hotel. Excellent for parents with grown up kids . Piano Bar open from 10.30pm was always good fun and other entertainment also good.

Great resort in fantastic location with friendly staff and a fantastic all-inclusive offering

tenterden2019 on Dec 31, 2025

My wife, adult daughter and I visited for Christmas 25, and had a lovely time. The resort is child free so there were lots of couples of all ages, and families like us with grown up kids. The resort is made up of small blocks of units, 3 floors high with large balconies overlooking the gardens. The rooms are older style but have been very well maintained and were spotlessly clean. The gardens surround the pools which abut the restaurant/ bar areas. The all inclusive options consist of a very good quality buffet breakfast. Lunch was also either a buffet, or grill where burgers / tacos etc were offered. There was also a street food truck which was open until later in the afternoon. - Great if you are on an excursion and return too late for regular lunch. Dinner was in one of two restaurants, which have to be booked each morning. A good variety of options, and befets on some evenings. There was good evening entertainment on most nights. The drinks offering was extensive with premium spirits and amazing cocktails together with some good wine selections. - The food and beverages offered were of a very good standard. There is also a lovely piano bar which opens late. This starts with some quiet tinkling of the ivories by the resident pianist, who's great, then slides into quite a sing along party atmosphere later. It's great fun. Theres a good coffee shop which does cakes / afternoon tea but we didn't try this. The resort has just a tiny beach but is right next door to the most incredible beach on Barbados, if not the entire Carribbean, Sandy Lane beach. This is a 3 Minute walk through a rocky shore line. Flip flops are needed and your ankles get wet but you need to check tide times as it needs to be crossed at low tide. In the opposite direction it's an easy walk to Holetown along the beach. With one or two exceptions, the staff are overwhelmingly friendly and happy to help. Too many names to remember but Demetri, Darius and the piano guy I believe named Devon? Were superstars. We had a lovely holiday and would like to return.
