Excellent resort

We had a great stay at this fabulous resort. The room, pools, beach and especially the restaurant Meridia was amazing. We had a waitress at meridia named Elizabeth who was so lovely and wonderful. The food was excellent too. We highly recommend this resort and restaurant.
Nice hotel but some issues with my stay

Firstly, let me say that this is a nice resort and it is located on a great beach. As Big Island residents we have had the opportunity to stay here twice in the last few months. The first stay was excellent. This time however there were a couple of issues. 1. On our second day, we returned late in the afternoon to find that the room had not been cleaned. As we needed to shower and get ready for a dinner we just asked housekeeping to send up some clean dry towels. 2. My wife and I had dinner at the Meridia restaurant. They forgot our starter and just brought out our main course. We sent it back and requested the starter that we ordered. Not quite what I would expect from a restaurant that I paid $250 for dinner for two. To add insult to injury Marriot haven't posted any points for my stay. We mentioned the cleaning and restaurant issues with the front desk and I completed a customer satisfaction form. I've heard nothing back.
