The FORMULA 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix is held annually during the third weekend of November.
Road closures, including Las Vegas Boulevard, Sands Avenue, Harmon Avenue and Koval Lane will be closed to vehicular traffic.
Access by vehicle will be restricted during these times and increased travel times and delays may occur especially between the hours of 5pm – 2am.
Las Vegas Boulevard pedestrian walkways and bridges will be available around the clock.
During race times it is recommended to use these walkways and pedestrian bridges to travel within the resort corridor.
RIDESHARE / TAXI SERVICES If you arrive prior to Road Closure times (5 p.m.), rideshare and taxi services will be able to access the property as usual, but you should still allow more time to complete your trip. If you are arriving between 5 p.m. and 2 a.m. on race days and using a rideshare or taxi service, you will be dropped off at the designated Hotel Shuttle Drop Off Area then transferred to your lodging property. If departing during race times via rideshare or taxi services, shuttles will be available on a limited basis to take you to the satellite rideshare and taxi service departure location.

We have visited Las Vegas many times, but this was our first stay at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Overall, it serves its purpose well , we slept comfortably and the beds were good. We had a spacious room with a view of the Bellagio Fountains, which was very nice. The room also included a mini-fridge, which was very convenient. That said, some areas felt a bit dated (fixtures, handles, shower, etc.). We chose this hotel mainly because of its central location in the middle of the Strip, making it very easy to walk to other hotels and attractions. It’s a practical and comfortable option for a three-day stay. You also have the Miracle Mile Shops downstairs, with plenty of stores and food options to choose from.

Resort was clean with friendly staff. We caught a show at the Sphere so Planet Hollywood was conveniently close. The miracle mile shops were great as well. The casino was good, but we didn’t hit much even though we spent a good bit over 3 days. (Never hit for more than $100 despite spending 2.50-3.00/spin on slots)
