A breath of fresh air

Everything, I mean EVERYTHING was top class starting from the check in experience, the smells, the ever smiling and helpful staff, tastefully done rooms, comfy bed and pillows, the restaurant choices from Mexican to Italian and Chinese and finally the seamless checkout experience. A+.
Okay hotel

Located on the far North end of the strip. Staff at check in were friendly and helpful with answering questions. Free valet or self parking available. Enjoyed having Starbucks in the lobby. The rooms are basic and clean.. mini fridge in room is a plus. Free bottled water in room. Early check in before 4pm is charged $25. I'm not sure if they do that all year round or only during the busy seasons. You can get on the monorail to take you to the center of the strip .
Good luck getting your deposit back, or making a cancellation to your reservation
Brenda C on Jan 06, 2026
Buyer beware. I made a reservation for February 2026 on the Sahara webpage. I didn't receive an email to confirm the reservation. I then needed to change the reservation so I sent an email asking for my reservation number (required to cancel or edit). I decided to cancel the reservation, but wasn't able to do so online was prompted to call. The rep I got on the phone had her kid walk in as she was asking me for my credit card number to reference the refund. She put me on hold while she dealt with him, then said "never mind" for the credit card number. I asked her for an email confirmation, and she said no. I asked her again, and she said "I sent it". No email confirmation of cancellation was ever received. I wait a day and call to cancel, again. The rep was quiet, so I said "is it cancelled?", and she said "yes". I said when will I get the refund for the deposit, she said "3 days". 10 days pass, and I call to inquire about my deposit refund, and was told, "oh, it's on the old system, I'll put in a request for it now". I never got to stay there, and glad I didn't. I wouldn't want to do business with a company who operates like this. Still waiting on my refund of the deposit, BTW.
Serious Bell Desk Failure, No ID Verification, and No Follow-Up After Returning Home
Darkroastrev (Burnsville, Minnesota) on Jan 05, 2026
We stayed at SAHARA Las Vegas from December 3 through December 5. On the morning of December 3, we checked our luggage with the bell desk before heading out for the day. When we returned that afternoon to retrieve it, we were stunned to learn that our bags had been released to an unauthorized person who somehow ended up with our claim ticket. What makes this even more concerning is that no ID was checked at all before releasing our luggage. Anyone who obtained the ticket — whether accidentally or intentionally — could claim our belongings without any verification. That is exactly what happened, and we lost thousands of dollars of personal items. During our stay, Risk Management did speak with us, but the tone was essentially, “We’re sorry this happened, but it was a bad accident and we are not liable.” That alone was disappointing given the seriousness of the lapse. However, what has been even more frustrating is the complete lack of response after we returned home. We sent a detailed follow-up email, along with certified letters to the General Manager, Risk Management, and Corporate Legal requesting a review and further communication. To date, we have received no acknowledgment or response of any kind. It is our opinion that hotels should have procedures in place to protect the belongings guests entrust to them. The lack of ID verification led directly to a significant loss of property and cast a shadow over what was meant to be a special trip for us. Instead of enjoying our time in Las Vegas, we spent much of it dealing with the fallout and stress from this incident. We sincerely hope SAHARA will finally reach out and address this situation. Until that happens, we cannot recommend staying here if you expect your belongings to be secure or management to communicate effectively when problems arise.
Good value, nice property

I was pleasantly surprised and would stay here again. It is a clean hotel, updated, and they are attentive to guests. Nice restaurants as well!
