2 Day universal trip with 15, 12 and 9 year old. Stayed in a junior rock star suite on the 6th floor. A pull out couch is in the main room with the king bed but a roll away easily fit in the juniors are with the 2 twin beds. So separate areas achievable. 2 sink areas is great, 2 toilets would have been perfect. Lots of space. Comfortable for our group. Hotel hallways were cold and fire alarm went off for 10 minutes one EARLY morning, like 1AM. Nothing we couldn't deal with. The proximity to islands and universal studios is definitely worth it. There is a shuttle to Epic but that will be next time. and the express pass is also worth it, making paying a very large amount for this hotel justifiable. The meals we ate at the express marketplace and the seated dinner at the kitchen were great. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend the room for a similar family of 5 and the hotel for express passes/proximity.

Right next to Universal and about a 10min shuttle to Epic. Had a really good time here, we opted for the rock royalty room which is on the 7th floor. The kids enjoyed acess to the club to get food and drinks. Rooms are a decent size and comfortable after each big day in the park, staying here grants early access to the parks except for Epic. There is pretty much music playing everywhere in the hotel except in the hallways near bedrooms. Lots of parking, the pool is heated and there is a hot tub. Turn down service

Can’t fault the building and the rooms , restaurants were great but pricey but don’t mind that when you’re getting quality in return. Location was amazing being so close to Universal and the gardens were perfectly designed and maintained. Concierge was awful, wouldn’t even call us a taxi after we had checked out, we then had to try and activate our roaming on our phones to then enable calls which was proving difficult at the time and with two tired small children led to a half hour delay to leaving the hotel while the Concierge just stood there . Never known a hotel not be willing to call a taxi before but will make sure our phones are set up on our next trip just in case . Very expensive Hotel but good quality if you don’t mind paying extra

Stayed here previously and it wasn’t good. So was very nervous at paying to stay here again. Katie on check in was great. Really took time and made us feel welcome. All staff were happy. Did have a long wait one day for scrambled egg. But the host was great at resolving it. Only complaint really is that it was very expensive for drinks in hotel. But it’s supply and demand. So expected I would come again. I’ve read that the hotel has had a refit. But I didn’t see any differences to previous.

Our stay at the Hard Rock Hotel was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The moment we walked in, the energy of the hotel instantly set the tone fun, stylish, and welcoming. The property is beautifully maintained with a cool rock-and-roll ( pop in some magical areas) vibe woven into every corner, yet it still feels relaxed and family-friendly. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made our stay feel a little more special. We loved how close the hotel was to the parks—being able to walk or take the quick water taxi made our days so much easier. Plus, the early park admission was a huge perk and truly enhanced our experience. Every staff member we met was kind, upbeat, and genuinely eager to help. Gave my kid a little birthday surprise which really made the experience memorable. From the front desk to housekeeping to the pool attendants, everyone went out of their way to make sure we felt taken care of. The pool area was another highlight—great music, plenty of space to relax, and an overall atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. Dining on-site was excellent as well. Our waiter was a taller young man with dark hair, didn’t get his name but he was really kind to my kid. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served with the kind of attentive hospitality that makes you want to come back again. Overall, the Hard Rock Hotel delivered a fantastic blend of comfort, convenience, and personality. We left with great memories and would happily return for another stay much longer than a couple days. Highly recommend!
