My expectations were high after reading other reviews and watching you tube videos. 5 star all around. Room, service, beach, drinks and food top notch. Wouldn't change a thing. We will return.

I just spent 2 weeks at This resort and at first I was not seeing what was so special about Ocean Blue and Sand. But soon I saw the quality of this place. The food there is better than any resort I have stayed at. I am Canadian and travel frequently. Until this stay I didn’t find any beef dishes that even compared to beef in Canada. I had one of the best steaks ever at the Italian restaurant here. The buffets have a huge variety of salad, and the pizza and taco bars are always hot and yummy. The cheese must all come from Europe. It’s delicious and there are many choices. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Of course you need to tip regularly just as at all resorts. Once you get to know the staff, you will see that they recognize you and become very helpful and attentive. Jesus at the French restaurant is great as are the others in that particular restaurant. The Italian restaurant is also amazing. Our room staff person Pilar was a delight as well. Don’t get the idea that the whole place is perfect. The rooms are very clean but the laminate flooring in our room was puffy and wet near the balcony door. No matter what we asked they would not replace the broken coffee maker in our room. The Privilege section liked to remind you that there are more important guests but the extra price doesn’t seem to be worth it. The resort is 20 years old so some wear is showing. This is not a party resort. It is great for people with mobility issues. There transport vehicles to take people around the resort at all times. Families with young children and grandparents are common. The beach is amazing. If you want a restful enjoyable time, this resort is for you. Many people we met have been coming to this resort year after year. And even though I like to try new resorts each year, we may be back!

Carlos in the tiki bar and Julio were excellent. Hector our butler was great. The cabanas were great and the oceans views was great.

The food is perfect, the service too. The entire staff is very positive. In one of the restaurants Ruth, great service. Our waitress Alexandra cleans the room perfectly every day. The singer has a wonderful voice, the animators too. Thanks to the whole team, they are great.
