Car rentals

• WestJet points are awarded on the cost of your rental before taxes, fees, charges and optional extras. 
• WestJet Rewards members will earn a minimum of 1 WestJet point per dollar spent on rentals with Avis, Budget, National, Alamo, Enterprise, Hertz, Dollar and Thrifty.  
• Members with Silver, Gold or Platinum status will earn 1.5 points per dollar on car rentals with Avis, Budget, National, Alamo and Enterprise only. 
• Rental car transactions are not eligible towards tier qualifying spend or milestone qualifying spend in the WestJet Rewards program. 
• WestJet Rewards ID must be provided at the time of reservation. Only one member per car rental will earn WestJet points.  
• WestJet points cannot be divided between multiple WestJet Rewards members. 
• Please allow up to 30 days after vehicle is returned for WestJet points to be posted to your account. 
• A flight is not required to earn WestJet points on car rentals. 
• WestJet points can be earned for car rentals in North America, Central America, the Caribbean, and Europe. 
• All WestJet Rewards program terms and conditions apply. 

WestJet points cannot be redeemed towards the cost of car rentals at this time. 

Forgot to add your WestJet Rewards ID while making a car rental reservation? Request credit for your completed car rentals in three easy steps: 

1. Sign into your account online or on the WestJet app. 
2. Navigate to the Activity tab.  
3. Submit a new Missing Rewards request by selecting ‘Car Rentals’ from the drop-down menu.
