We stayed in room 2562and our service with yenis castillo was excellent room was clean she was helpful and always happy saying good morning we highly recommend

We were a group of 23 ages 1-58 with 9 rooms all over the resort. The wait staff in the main buffet are fantastic and go out of their way to make sure everyone is happy. Food is very repetitive but no one went hungry. All had different experiences in regard to house keeping. Our room 2622 was always clean and staff for that building were helpful. Many in the group did not have a similar situation. Some no toilette paper, towels or water. One had bathroom products go missing. Took one family days to get a sheet and blanket (front desk would not help till a manager got involved) None of the rooms had their fridge stocked with pop or beer the entire stay. Dishes seem to pile up all over the resort and stay there for days. Main pool was clean and beach was beautiful. Pool could use some tile repairs. Kids pool was nasty! The kids found it very slippery. It didn’t look like it had been cleaned in a very long time. There were shortages every day of different items. 24 snack bar ran out of hotdogs, cola and milk often. We were unable to get coffee there in the morning. Main bar would run out of vodka, juice and cola. No drink was ever made the same way twice. As a group we shared supplies and didn’t sweat the little stuff and had a great holiday.

This year was our 3rd time staying at Melia Peninsula in Varadero and it was just as enjoyable as the first two stays. The people, many of whom are now our friends, are so warm and welcoming and are what makes our stay special

I've been to every Melia in varadero this one is the worst one of all. ,,,,,, but I will admit the food is good and so are the servers very good especially Rigo from the cafeteria super nice guy very respectful ..... There servers make up for the other bad stuff

The staff here are absolutely incredible - attentive, warm, and genuinely caring. Whether it was the restaurant servers, housekeeping, or front desk - everyone was outstanding. They made our stay perfect!
