Amazing trip with family. We loved how close everything was to eachother and there wasn’t much walking to do. There is something to do for everyone - fearing more towards family and less partying. The staff is amazing and so kind! Santiago at the bar is great and makes the best drinks! Gabriel from the entertainment team was so friendly and kept everyone entertained. I can’t express enough how CLEAN the rooms and the whole resort was. The star cafe was a nice bonus where I got my iced coffee and matcha every morning. Will definitely be returning, thank you Iberostar!!

Fraudsters and cheaters. They don't have the room which I booked in advance when I show up at the resort. Absolutely reckless and fraud.

Cancun 60th We travelled to the Iberostar Selection Cancun for a week boys golf trip. Emily at Sell Off Vacations was integral in arranging and booking all aspects of the trip from the resort to golf times. The resort is right across the street from the golf course and includes a golf cart shuttle both ways or a 5 minute walk. We stored our clubs at the course for the week as part of the package. Just don’t leave any food in your golf bag overnight as there are critters that will eat right through to get it!! We could reserve unlimited times as we purchased the package separately from the golf club for $599US ($880 CAN) We were able to book tee times 60 days in advance so we made 3 consecutive times between 7:30-8 for the 10 of us and again between 12-1 for the replay. As for the golf course staff they treated us fantastic. A shout of to a few of many excellent staff: Luis was the head back shop worker who was a pleasure to deal with all week. He organized our times and many extras. Clubs were out waiting for us every morning. Range balls were included. He even permitted us to adjust our times for the last day to golf before our flight. Others such as Santos and Angel were always friendly as we finished and chatted about our games after the round with them. And we can’t forget to mention Rosenberg the main beer cart driver. He would drive up every day singing and telling jokes to us. The cart had everything. Beer and non alcoholic beer, pop, and food. He will make you a Red Eye (beer Caesar), Margaritas are always a hit. He even brought us cheeseburgers when we were late for the afternoon round. What a guy! Mama’s Not Here was his favourite saying to get the party started. This kind of service goes above and beyond most any other clubs we have played around the world. You get this kind of services on top of a top design golf course. The tips stretch out to over 6700 yards. We played most games from the whites at 6200 yards. Playing at sea level is very different than at altitude as the ball flies at least 1 club less. So club up and swing full out!! The course sets up well for both fades and draws. Many holes you don’t need to hit a driver. Lots of fairway bunkers and surrounding the greens. Many holes have water, sometimes hiding off the tee, many with 15 foot crocodiles!! So be careful!! During our week the greens were rolled twice and punched with small tines. So by the weekend they were rolling at least 10 on the stemp. Our group said this course ranks a 9.5/10 on our scale. The hotel check in was fast and easy. Rigel at the front desk was a star!?? She made sure all 5 rooms had 2 beds and were close together. The rooms were very nice and a well stocked beer fridge was always full. The resort has many bars. Veronica the star of the Lobby bar. She was always smiling and dancing. Her cheerful demeanour made it fun to go down for pre dinner drinks or late night cocktails. Roberto at the Italian restaurant was our favourite. He always greeted our group with high 5’s and pleasantries. My tikatay as we shared the same name brought course after course of exquisite meals. He even serenaded one of our group for his birthday and brought out desserts. The pools were awesome. Good service at the swim up bar and restaurants around them. Only drawback was the hot tub wasn’t heating properly. The beach is one of the finest we’ve ever been to. The water was very clear. Next to nothing for the sargassum (weeds) notorious in the Caribbean. The waves were very strong. Be careful. Good for jumping but not for snorkeling or swimming. Overall this was a fantastic resort and golf experience. If you are looking for a winter break with sun, beach and great golf this is the place to go.

Great visit. It was hard to get into the Italian restaurant but we got in the last night. We didn't always get waited on by the pool, but the food and drinks were great. The room was well kept. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend staying here.
