Another great trip at the Zilara!

Another great vacation at this hotel! The staff is wonderful. The concierge service - particularly Lorena, Frida, Aleyda, and Rosa - was very friendly and welcoming. The staff at the coffee house - Eduardo, Jose, and the others in the afternoon - always made sure I had my morning coffee ready very quickly and were always very friendly, even at 6:45! Whitney, the nutritionist, offered my wife a lot of good advice on ways to improve her diet… it’s great the hotel employs diet and fitness professionals like her. The gym and its staff are awesome. I doubt we’ll be able to return before they close in April, but hopefully we can return in 2026!
Excellent Experience

Just returned from a 5 nights 6 days family vacation over Thanksgiving week. What a beautiful resort, tasty food selection, attentive and friendly staff, and the most expansive beach with the softest whitest sand around! Our stay began being greeted with cool towels and champagne in the open-air lobby. We were then met by the friendly bellhop, Alejandro, who whisked us and our luggage off to our eighth-floor room. The ocean front room was nicely decorated, spacious, had two sinks (a pleasant surprise) and an awesome balcony. We loved that you could watch the sunrise on the ocean side in the morning and then watch the sunset from the lagoon side before night. Even better, we watched the sunset from the infinity pool in the Sky Gym as an added bonus. The food selection was very good and diverse that we never got tired of what we were eating. This spanned across a Mexican themed dinner with authentic food and beautiful decorations, accompanied with singers and dancers capped off with a Mariachi band; Maria Marie (loved that mezcal souffle); Asiana a la carte (must have had 4 helpings each of the shrimp wontons, Thai wings, spring rolls, spicy tuna roll, tuna sashimi, salmon nigiri); Asiana Teppanyaki (awesome chef show); alternated breakfast between the impressive buffet at Spice (had a custom omelet each time) and Punta Vista (for the eggs benedict and wonderful juices); Casa Del Café offering up fresh pastries, coffee, espresso and refreshing gelato; lastly the brisket for lunch by the pool was absolutely fire! Specific shoutouts go to: 1. the entire entertainment team of Camilo, Genoro, Jonathon and the fantabulous Michelle (love our bracelets). They all were amazing and made our trip special. They really put their hearts into it each and every day/night giving us the best possible experience. From the foam party to the silent party (crazy good), we had an amazing time. Mucho gracias! 2. the exercise team of José who got us fit on the aqua cycle, Diana who got us kicking with aqua fitness, and a special shoutout to Kendra Bronstein, the guest instructor from California that got us up and moving early with yoga by the beach. You just can’t beat that! 3. David Medina, sommelier extraordinaire! Among the tomahawk steak tasting, the whiskey & chocolates, the tequila & mole, and my personal favorite, the smoked old fashioned, wow! You are a gift mi amigo! The execution of those drinks would not be possible without the help of Janett (always smiling) and Francisco (master mixologist) at the Den. The drinks were made with such precision and a sprinkle of love that made all the difference. It truly shows! 4. Lenny the lifeguard, keeping a watchful eye on our safety while playing in the ocean. 5. Ivan for our morning breakfasts by the ocean at Punta Vista. 6. Ricardo and Manuel at the pool bar (keep them drinks coming guys!). 7. Eduardo, Ivan, and Sebastian (keep running faster than your sons, their day will come!) at the pool/beach. 8. The room staff for stocking the fridge and freshening up our room each day. 9. To the late-night crews that work throughout the night decorating the lobby. 10. And last but not least to Jhandi my friend, from his morning greeting, fantastic drink recommendations, to just casual conversation. He is the man! I am sure I have unintentionally left someone out as there are so many more that help to make this truly an exceptional experience, Gracias por hacernos sentir parte de tu familia Hyatt en nuestras vacaciones! My hotel/remodeling recommendations for your consideration: 1. Make sure the outdoor hot tub/jacuzzi is warm/hot for that occasional cloudy rainy day 2. If possible, enlarge the jacuzzi 3. Ideally the two swimming pools should be connected (remove the divider) 4. Add an outdoor bathroom outside by the pool area 5. Keep things open a little later at night as the place shuts down a little early 6. Make some light appetizers available at the Time Out bar for that late evening snack
Fabulous !!

Amazing service, particularly from Jhandi. 10/10 and no need for excessive tipping (gratuity incl in price). We had a fantastic time, coming from Ireland it was a long journey but worth it. Food drinks service all great. Only pain point is the need to ‘rush’ to get a sunbed as a lot are revered / pay extra only which is annoying on top of an expensive trip. However we came in a quiet week and it was all fine. Would highly recommend

The wait staff was amazing, Jhandi specifically is the best always ask for Jhandi. The rooms were really nice and all of the rooms have ocean views. We had a great time at the Hyatt Zilara in Cancun. The resort is really nice and the room service is really good.
The best time
