Gorgeous turquoise waters at the Hyatt Zilara Cancun

710chrissyc (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) on Feb 17, 2024

Solid 4 star resort. Decent food, good entertainment, friendly staff. I don’t love that most of the seating around the pool is cabanas for rent. Not a lot of space to get loungers. We had the best service from David John from the Bell Boy staff snd Yessica at the front desk. From the moment we arrived at the resort, David took our bags, brought them to our room and was just so friendly and happy. And then the next day we needed a taxi to go to. The pier at Isla Mujeres and he secured that and made sure we had a ride back. He was so very friendly. Absolutely every company should want the first impression of their guest to be that of the service that David provided. Yessica at the front desk was great. Very informative, friendly, skilled and waved every time she saw us. Overall good experience. The people are definitely what makes this a good resort.

Top notch all inclusive

Celanahtravels (Kelowna, Canada) on Feb 17, 2024

Absolutely wonderful experience. There were a lot of reviews complaining about cabanas. Sure, if you want a free one beside the pool you probably have to get up early, but there are plenty of loungers with umbrellas around the pool, and cabanas and loungers on the beach. You will always find a spot to lounge. The food was great, considering it’s an all inclusive you don’t ever have to eat at the buffet, and even that was very very good. Try all the restaurants, they’re good. Get in touch with the concierge before your trip, then you can hit the ground running. Arturo, Daniel Manzano, and Ava with concierge were life savers. Mauri at Maria Marie was fabulous. He made great recommendations. Guillermo and Eloisa at the pool and beach were great. Wood fire pizza! Saul made check in and out easy, and offered a well-worth-it room upgrade. Very professional and kind. Room service was quick and good. We did a couples massage at the spa and liked it a lot. Definitely the best massage I’ve had in holidays. Go early to do the water experience, it was fun. John David helped us with our luggage at check out so we could grab lunch and leave our stuff. Great trip, I would book here again, and probably will. Bring tip money, the service is worth it!

Great hotel zone adults only, older crowd

nancybbarr on Feb 17, 2024

Love it so so much. Beautiful and well maintained, excellent service, fantastic food highly recommend, particularly for couples and older folks. Pricey, yes, but worth it. Will certainly go back. Shows are on the silly side. But entertaining.

Heated Swim Out Pools!!!

Roger S on Feb 17, 2024

Pros: Heated swim up pools Heated main pools Excellent views Good food Outstanding service Heated pools Great coffee shop Did I mention the heated swim pool Cons: There were really no negatives during our stay. I have seen shows that have more production value than the shows at this resort, however, the shows here matched the setting and we enjoyed them.

Great hydrotherapy

Amanda C (Nashville) on Feb 17, 2024

Loved the hydro therapy and especially Bertha, our hostess! Sauna, steam room, cold plunge, hot tub and pool with jets make for a very rejuvenating time. I also loved the bowls of ice and washcloths with cool water. Service was top notch. Bertha was so attentive and kind and fun!
