First time there and stayed 3 nights. Wish we could’ve stayed longer! The resort is not crowded right now, and I’m hoping it picks up to keep this wonderful place going! All the food we had was fresh and delicious, the service was top-notch (special thanks to Andi for water aerobics & Abi our poolside butler). Our room on the 8th floor was enormous, spotless, and the a/c was perfect! The foam party on Tuesday was tons of fun, but overall my goal was to relax…this resort was absolutely perfect!

We just returned from an 8 day stay at Zilara. We were spoiled every single day. On day 1 we met Abi at the beach and he gave us exceptional service. Day 2 we met Sandy with entertainment and she was phenomenal as well. Able and Alfredo took great care of us in Spice for breakfast and lunch. Mauri was a lobby waiter and did a great job. Jair the bell man brought us room service and made sure everything was set up and correct. Jimena the concierge was attentive and always took care to ask us if everything was ok and answered any questions we had. We met Arnold the first day and he remembered our names and asked us about our stay every day. David Cabrera Rosas is the pool concierge and I will leave his email in the comments if you want to rent a cabana. He did a good job making sure everything was taken care of there. Daniel Silva is the entertainment supervisor and filled in one day when Sandy was at a meeting and acted like he knew me his whole life. The 2 lobby supervisor’s talked to us daily asking bout our trip. If we stood still 5 seconds someone was asking us if we needed anything or if we needed directions. The Tuesday foam party was fantastic but Saturdays is a lot more low key. The resort and room were immaculate and every day cleaned with turn down service. The restaurants were top notch and the food above and beyond any AI we have stayed in in 20 years. They do have sweet tea at the pool and restaurants which a Texas boy appreciated. Our fridge went out and someone was there in a few minutes and replaced it. Room service was as good as the restaurants. Heads up Spice does not open for lunch until 12:30. We usually did the take out and ate at the pool. One thing I never read about was you need your room key to go to the beach restrooms and get into the gym. There was sargassum our first and last day but the rest of the week was clear and beautiful. The ocean water was too rough to enjoy so we stayed in the active pool. The one blemish on our week was Martin at the pool. I don’t know why but he would just walk by us and serve everyone else. My wife thought it was just me till she saw him do it twice! I am not a complainer but it ticked me off. Us and the couple we met gave him a $15 dollar tip thinking that might help NOPE! Took our money and kept it up. If they weren’t busy some of the cabana butlers got us drinks. PLEASE take names of great service provided and put them in a review on here or especially Trip Advisor as the employees are rewarded for it that is why I mentioned so many. We have always looked for a home resort and this is it for us.

We are repeat customers and it's better every time. Warm and friendly staff. All are wonderful. Shout out to Joana and Liliana in Zen spa, we did couples massage and they were wonderful!

This was our second trip this year. The hotel is in a great location. It’s very clean and the rooms are amazing. The staff go above and beyond, especially the butlers : Brandon, Rossy & Jorge. They made our stay very special and accommodated to our family. Sandy did a great job with the pool entertainment & Dani & Adrain with our cabanas. The foam party was a lot of fun.
