We are Royal Vacation members who came here after staying in Cancun (which was wonderful). There is almost nothing redeeming about this resort. The staff is friendly and that’s about it. The first two days we had no air conditioning and repeatedly contacted the front desk. They would send someone from maintenance and they would tell us it was fixed. Room never got below 26 Celsius. On day 3 they moved us to another room. It’s a bit better but still 24 Celsius. Food is mediocre at best. I think the worst part of this location is they have no respect for members as moments after we arrived, before we even got to a bathroom they insisted on booking an appointment to upsell us, I refused and they were immediately rude. The elevator from the lobby down to the resort is broken ( making it impossible for anyone who can’t navigate very steep stairs to get down). The bathrooms by the amphitheater are out of service with the nearest restrooms being in the lobby. We will never come back here.
