Worst Hotel not Empathy at all

I want to comment that I went to smoke around 1 AM (I wasn't drinking) in the morning and I wanted to go to the bathroom and I went back to my room, but my key didn't open the room (later they explained to me that the battery in the lock died), so I went to the pool bathroom , with the urgency that I had I did not see a sign that you could not enter (very poorly marked for that time of night), so I entered the hallway of the pool bathroom that they were painting or doing something on the floor, I slipped and I fell to the ground, in the fall, my shoes broke, the clothes I was wearing were ruined and my cell phone flew and broke too. Then I spoke with the Manager on duty and told him what had happened, he told me that he was worried about my well-being, on several occasions he asked me if I wanted to see a doctor and at his insistence I said yes, to which he told me that I will pay for it, so why he insisted on calling a doctor to check me out if I was going to pay for it? by the way, I have a Medical Insurance in Mexico, so, I could go directly to the Hospital with a better service. I told him that I didn't care about the shoes and clothes, but the cell phone is expensive (Samsung Galaxy Note9), I know it doesn't going to compensate me for the entire cost, but some compensation for the damage wouldn't be bad, which he mentioned I had to see someone the next day (I don't remember the name) because of the time it was (late night) and the next day I was going to leave the Hotel, I didn't have time to talk to anyone, however, despite the complaint, no one showed up next day to see if I was ok either. So, I would never book again at this Hotel.

Beware of changes

This resort only has two dining options. There are no snacks available when you want them such as burgers, pizzas, hotdogs, etc. You can upgrade your amenities to include the resort next-door. If you’re traveling with picky eaters, this is something you need to check into.

Worst all inclusive we have been to yet

Let me start off by saying that not much usually bothers me and I can sleep anywhere and eat anything, but this is by far the worst all-inclusive hotel that I have ever been to. Most of the place smells like sewage so you get the pleasure of smelling that while walking around. They also leave cup and plates sitting outside for days at a time. Seems there is no one to clean up the stuff people leave lying around. The rooms are ok. Water pressure is poor and it seems like the top floor toilets have some issues. They fixed a leaking issue with our A/C quickly. They have a mini fridge in the room. When you first get there there is beer, water and pop in there. They will only refill the water. So once the rest is gone you are done for the time you are here. This is a first for us at an all inclusive. The pool is pretty small and there are not enough chairs by it. The beach is decent, although a little rocky the water is nice and there are no people trying to sell you stuff. It could also use more chairs. There are only 2 restaurants at this hotel with very limited menus that do not change. So you basically will eat the same thing everyday. You can also eat at the small buffet at the hotel next door. This is a little better but not by much. We ended up eating out a lot. Certain bartenders say something to you if you order more than one drink. I ordered 2 drinks, one for my wife and the bartender said one per person even though multiple people before me ordered 3 plus drinks. One night I didn’t want dinner so I went to the cafe to get a desert to eat. They are small about the size of a quarter. So I ordered 2 for me and 2 for my wife. The guy at the counter gave me a hard time about this. I’ve never seen an all-inclusive be so stingy with everything. Front desk is helpful and the bellman can call you a cab to go into town.

Everything you need to enjoy Cozumel

We absolutely loved our ocean view room and the size of this resort. Small, low key, great snorkeling and activities. Having the piers on either side of the resort came in handy for pickup/drop-off with excursions. Resort and room were clean and comfortable. Restaurants were good, breakfast and lunch took some time to order and receive drinks and meals (just plan accordingly). Would definitely stay here again!

Exceeded my expectations

Everyone was so nice, I wouldn't say it was fancy but it was definitely a place I would go back to. I read the reviews about how it has changed but since I didn't have anything to compare it to except other resorts I would say it is still well taken care of, clean and the beach was amazing. Oh and much better than the sister Dreams. They didn't care for their beach at all.
