My friend and I eat vegan, so we could eat very little on the standard menus. But the restaurant manager and chef worked with us, and created amazing dishes for us for every meal. What great customer focus! We couldn’t be more satisfied with the food here!

My family came here a couple weeks ago .The rooms were dirty. And the shower didn’t have a door. It was big and only had a small amount of water. If you go to the sunny side bar, you WILL find bees and flies swimming in your food. I had to get another plate of food and the bees swam there too. The rooms were very small and had EXTREMELY dirty floors. And small beds. The safe locked so we needed people to come unlock it and the door to the room wouldn’t open because the key broke so we had to get a new one. The explorers club I thought was In the rubiks cub but that was a kitchen. And it was like in dreams. The activities board weren’t clear were they were and one night there was a movie and it was canceled. When I saw the explorers club activities, I saw brain games. We tried it and when we got there the person pulled out a box with hangman based off movies. Overall terrible resort. We will not be coming back.

The rooms are ok but it seems the out side of the building itself looks a little bit neglected the entertainment is mediocre but the place does have potential for improvement.

It has gone down the tubes with the new ownership of Hyatt hotels. I came many times when it was the “Reef Club “ You had 3-4 restaurants to choose from, you could walk into the neighboring restaurants , the foods were of a great variety and cultures and delicious! The food since the new ownership is terrible and the selection is boring and bland. No taste what’s so ever! definitely not worthy of the price you pay to stay there. Rooms floor leaked, no towels, smelly bath water! The only positive side to this place is the staff and their friendliness and attention to detail, especially house keeping. My review is a once 5 star hotel, has turned into a money hungry chain, that only cares about money, and not quality or care. I will not be returning to this hotel, or any Mexican resort affiliated with Hyatt.

3/5 stars. Nice location right on the beach, quieter resort so nice for families. Lack of staff, not amazing service. Food is not super great & small portions. Wish there were more snacking options & not just sit down meals. Minimal food options & not much to do at resort. We rented a car but if not would’ve gotten bored quickly. Itzel & Miguel worked in the restaurants & were amazing. Had a room overlooking the beach, that was wonderful. Very quiet resort & the staff was friendly & helpful.
