Stop here and read this review, this place is worth every penny. The resort is beautiful and if you are looking for gorgeous scenery and relaxation, this is the place for you. We traveled here as with extended family to celebrate our wedding anniversary and son graduating high school. Very easy for us to spend quality time together, get dinner reservations together, or do things separately. The staff: I cannot express my gratitude in words for everything Daniele did for our family. American Airlines delayed our flight causing us to miss our connecting flight, delaying our arrival for two days. We tried to contact the hotel through the Hilton app, but they communicate through WhatsApp which we were unaware of at the time. Daniele noticed we had not arrived as scheduled and called to check in with us. He was able to make our reservation work when we were delayed by 48 hours, which he did not have to do. Technically Hilton could have canceled our entire reservation as a no show and made us rebook our rooms. He even checked on us during our stay. And Carella at the Seafood Tavern was awesome, very attentive to our large party and personable. You could tell she loves her job! Also, Shu (sorry for the spelling) at the BBQ restaurant was so sweet and kind to us. All of the staff we encountered were kind, most acknowledged us when we walked by. The food: Everything was delicious. Lots of food, lots of choices. Just be prepared to wait, you are on island time! So relax and enjoy the ambiance! We had no issues making reservations, my sister and brother in law got in line at 10 am each morning before we arrived and got the reservations desired. Saying that, we are Hilton Diamond Members and when we arrived we were able to make reservations for the week. But my brother and sister in law were not Hilton Honors participants and they had no issues making the reservations they desired, even for our party of 8 for the day we all arrived and the next night. The room: Our room was stunning. Nice and cold, great AC, spectacular view. We were in one of the Presidential suites with a plunge pool, and it was insanely awesome! Very clean, mini bar and snacks stayed stocked, great housekeeping staff. Truly want to make sure your needs are met. The drinks: The welcome drinks in the lobby are delicious, and probably the strongest you will find during your stay. You will find your favorite bartenders to go to. They are great at making a tasty drink with your liquor of choice. Just specify alcohol or no alcohol and they’ve got you covered! We did not have long waits, but I am not sure the capacity the resort was running at for our stay. Cleanliness: They do an awesome job maintaining the property. We as guests need to do a better job cleaning up after ourselves. The only trash we would see is from guests. We saw no mice, very few lizards, there are actually cats on the property that probably help with all of this. I can imagine pests might be an issue with all of the waste from the customer being left all over the place. Again, we as guests need to do a better job. There are proper disposal places for all of your used items. Getting to the resort: Taxi! Go out of the airport and follow the taxi sign (to the left). There will be a line of taxis, take one! We did pay in cash, so be prepared for that. Activities: We didn’t really partake in anything. There were pool games we saw in the afternoon. They also had sand volleyball. In the evenings they would have some type of program. One night there was a fire show we watched from our balcony and it was pretty awesome. We also saw the fireworks from in town on Thursday evening from our balcony. The water park is great and a workout going up all the stairs! We chose to rent a cabana on the beach everyday, and that was definitely worth it. My brother and sister in law used the spa services for a massage, and said it was awesome! We brought our own snorkel gear, and that was great fun! Lots of beautiful fish to see! I would give this resort 10 stars if I could. I wish we were still there. I cannot wait to go back!
