Loved this resort - location (on beach and Broadwalk with shopping as well as additional dining), food (multiple restaurants and bars to choose from), exceptional service (which is not the norm in the US at this time), clean and comfortable bed.
The best

Neil Jorge David Jesus Nicholas are just a few names I remember from the best experience I’ve had with my family. From the bellhop to the check in and hospitality at this place 5 star minimum. This place is awesome and will recommend to everyone. Thank you to all for the hospitality and kindness!
Great Christmas Party
tinasD1242ZQ on May 07, 2025
MV hosted our annual company Christmas Party in their private upstairs room. It was wonderful. We had private use of the full wrap around balcony. Food was very good. Our coordinator was wonderful. Our one issue was the bartender that worked our party. He was terrible. Rude and actually had an issue giving people bottles of water. Like he was paying for them. The owners arrived early to make sure all was set up. He refused to service them a drink because it was a little before our scheduled start time of 6:30 p.m. Told them they had to go downstairs to the bar. Can you imagine. After spending thousands for a party and he couldn't be bothered serving two glasses of wine 15-minutes before the scheduled start time even though he was setup. He was quite rude. But we would return for another party and the hotel itself is also very lovely. Very overprices during season, but in South Florida, they all are.
Time For A Change

We have stayed here probably 5 or 6 times over the last few years and it is undoubtedly a nice hotel. The public area and foyer is really cool, really nice beach vibes and open airy feel. The rooms I have experienced are a bit of a mixed bag, the last two times we stayed we were allocated a room on the U section which was really not the best because of noise and events. On one evening there was a corporate event with quite a lot of people which meant the top pool was closed and our balcony was just two floors above overlooking and so it became very noisy I think because of the shape of the building the noise just stays within the building and so when sitting on your balcony or having the balcony door open it just fills the room with noise. Equally the next evening there was a wedding and so I like to sit on the balcony and chill but felt very uncomfortable doing so as I’m sure the happy couple didn’t want me sitting in my swim shorts on their wedding photos and again there was a lot of noise that just seems to fill the room. The side our room was on just didn’t have the best view, I’ve stayed in other similar category rooms and had much better views if you are on the outer edge of the building rather than the inside of the U. We also had the pleasure of a pool attendant using a petrol powered leaf blower to clear the deck at 7am on a Sunday morning and as someone who likes to sleep with the door open for air, again the noise was crazy it was like someone was cutting trees. The rooms themselves I think are getting a little tired, don’t get me wrong they are still comfortable and spacious but noticed things like dirty carpets, painting that could do with a refresh, air conditioning that was noisy, pool area could do with a jet washing; nothing major but not really what you’d expect from a premium hotel that your paying premium prices for and just what I have observed through coming over a number of years. The pool area gets busy and feels busy in the afternoon so get there early to secure a decent bed! Location wise it’s well located on the beach to take in the sights and entertainment along Hollywood beach in the evening and there are lots of bars and restaurants to try and my advice would be to definitely try them, don’t just stick to the hotel as the restaurants are quite pricey and not the best food. Now on to pricing. It’s clearly a premium hotel that isn’t cheap however it just feels like there is always an opportunity to charge extra. Valet parking with tax fees is over $63 per night with self parking being only a few dollars less so valet seems like a no brainer. The resort fee is $45 per night plus tax so over $50 per night, so you have to factor that into your cost especially if driving. Whilst resort fees are common practice it’s just something to be aware of especially if staying for a few nights as it soon adds up. I’m just not sure the quality of the stay justifies the price anymore for me so will have to think twice about returning.
Great restaurant and good gluten free options

Excellent location, right on the beach (although the restaurant doesn't overlook the beach). Great for coeliacs/ gluten-free needs. It was not a massive choice but felt really safe, and our server knew exactly what food I could eat. Erik was our server, and he was brilliant, so friendly, and really knowledgeable about gluten-free options. Also, Erica was lovely at the front desk. Thought it was much nicer than the city walk location.
