We had a fantastic family stay at Grand Cayman Marriott Resort. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the spectacular views from the Grand Oceanfront room and the beach access via the stairs. The food was great overall, with much better quality than you typically find at resorts. We had dinner at Veranda twice and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Special thanks to Cristina from room service and the security team who helped and checked in when our 5 year old was feeling under the weather. Thanks also to Ray at the front desk for recognizing our special celebrations, Dan and Nancy at restaurants, and the activities and poolside staff who were all very friendly and made our stay special. One minor suggestion to management is around breakfast for elite members. Although the hotel offered a great continental breakfast thanks to my wife’s Titanium status, we found the upgrade to the full buffet or a la carte items to be quite steep, coming out to approximately $25 per person. Typically at similar Marriott resorts either a full buffet breakfast is included or an upgrade costs around a much more reasonable $5-$10pp and the hotel can bring this in line.

The Marriott was a fabulous place to stay. Everyone was very friendly and helpful! Kerry- Ann was amazing at booking out excursions and helping us with reservations!. It didn’t bother us at all that there is no beach because the pool and chairs sit above the water and you can see the amazing view even better! I highly recvomend this place!

Exactly what you would expect from Marriott ++ The rooms were spotless and large. The grounds were beautiful and perfectly manicured. The Beach House amenities were plentiful…bikes to borrow, water toys (kayaks, paddle boards, hobbies sailboat, snorkel equipment and even go pro)…afternoon snacks by the pool…and sun screen and aloe on tap. The pool area was beautiful and the beach access very easy … with lots of floating toys to hang out on and reefs to snorkel. The staff was super friendly.

Our trip was a celebration of my youngest graduating from college. I hadn’t been to Grand Cayman since 1995. The Marriott resort was very nice. The lobby area is open and airy and adjacent to the bar area and dining area. All of the spaces are comfortable and inviting. The outdoor restaurant is right on the water with expansive beautiful ocean views. The staff at this resort is off-the charts amazing. They all are kind, helpful, friendly, and top of all the details! We felt like we were with the loveliest of family during our stay. From the front desk staff, dining staff, bar staff, spa staff, pool staff…every single person was over the top. It was impressive to see the General Manager on site as well. He was engaging and always interested in our experience. The food was excellent at all of our meals, and the Sunday Brunch was amazing! We will definitely return to this resort. They offer several water activities, kids club, shuttle service.
