100 decibel hip-hop blasting into room 18 hours a day, way to go Cosmo!

Ken S (Houston) on Apr 26, 2024

This was our second visit to Cosmo, it will be our last. We are in the Boulevard Tower which is next to the pool area. For the last three days the hip hop music from the pool starts blaring at 9:00 am and stops at 3 am. It’s not a minor annoyance, it’s blasting loud. How could they possibly think this is OK? Last time here, it’s back to the Wynn and Aria for us.

Overcharge

Chucky B on Apr 25, 2024

My stay at the hotel was fantastic until the Cosmopolitian charged me for using their spa services when I didn't. I contacted the hotel multiple times to inquire about the hold on my card which was explained to me was a simple deposit hold. My last contact with them all of a sudden I am being told its a charge for using their spa. Total Lie. I'm going back to staying at the Wynn, older crowd but at least they dont steal my money.

Check in Hassle With a Great View

kava-kauboi (Boca Raton, Florida) on Apr 24, 2024

This is a very nice hotel. It’s a pretty expensive hotel. It’s clean. The staff are mostly polite. The restaurants on the property are amazing. I had a not so great check in experience here that left me with a bad taste in my mouth and I will likely never stay here again. Upon arrival the person who booked the room was not with me, she was arriving the next day. It was a hassle to get the reservation switched so they would let me into a room despite someone named Peaches saying it would not be a problem. The hotel offered me a free “upgrade” for the hassle. When I went all the way up to the room it was not an upgrade. It was a smaller room. I had to go all the way back down and straighten it out. It’s a long way back to the desk. They apologized and gave me the room I had asked for with a view of the Bellagio fountains and strip from high up which was pretty cool. Had to move all my bags myself and take an elevator down to ground floor then transfer to another elevator to get to the new room. Cost me over an hour of hassle after being in a plane for 5 hours. The room I got was sufficient but the hassle was not. I was offered no apology or anything. This hotel is so busy they just don’t seem to care. I’ll stay elsewhere next time I visit Sin City.

Wonderful and centrally located upscale hotel

bernardo m (Savannah, Georgia) on Apr 24, 2024

This was a couple's trip to attend the Mariah Carey residency at Dolby live. The hotel is at the center of the strip next to the Bellagio. It is connected to both the Bellagio and the Aria so location-wise you are not going to get a better location. I would consider it a trendy and more upscale hotel with tons of bars and restaurants. The casino area is nice, with everything you expect. The table minimums are high ($25 min) compared to other casinos, but other than that, nothing out of the ordinary. More than a handful of really good quality restaurants and the buffet (Wicked Spoon) is really good! We arrived on a Thursday evening and check in was quick and painless. We were given a suite overlooking the Bellagio fountains on the 57th floor. Gorgeous views of the strip (picture attached). The room itself was pretty big, living room, little dining table and chairs, separate bedroom, 2 full bathrooms one with a tub and shower. Also, a nice balcony that extended the length of the suite. The views at night were magnificent and you are high enough up that not much noise to complain about at night. Every staff member we encountered was polite and helpful. Will be staying here again in the future, probably in September! In the spirit of full disclosure, this is a Marriott property and I am a long time Lifetime Titanium Elite member so take that for what its worth.

Used To Have Better Service

Shineykate (Tampa, FL) on Apr 22, 2024

The valet staff incredibly friendly ($40/day), barista at Va Bene also very friendly (remembered my drink)... Sesame at check in wasn't friendly at all. I have noticed that this hotel has declined in customer service ever since being taken over by MGM. We used to be recognized for our Marriott Elite status, but not any longer. Was always nice to see that loyalty meant something - but now it's only MGM loyalty they recognize. The city view w/balcony room in the Chelsea Tower (room 3808) was well equipped with sofa, two TV's and king bed (as advertised). Balcony was nice, except other guests were always smoking pot outside. The carpet was threadbare, and the bathroom had yellow water drips on the ceiling from condensation. We usually frequent the restaurants here, but not this trip. We also had better luck at the Paris casino. Best property feature: Location
