Poor experience

We stayed at this hotel due to celebrating a milestone birthday, the location and facilities, however, we did not have a satisfying experience! Firstly we experienced no cold water in our showers we had three rooms two of which were Terrace The Bellagio fountain views and one standard room-Everyone got scoulded by the hot water only one rooms shower got fixed! Meaning the others in my group (my parents and children could not shower)! This was mentioned to the staff and a $150 credit was added to one room, for compensation however it was for drinks and food with restrictions on where you could use it! This voucher did not get used as they took it back from us as we decided to check out due to the hospitality of staff when this reported! The other rooms shower did not get repaired! We then spent the duration of our stay at The Venetian Hotel and had an amazing time with beautiful rooms four great pools and a good vibe!

Huge, glitzy hotel just as you expect in Vegas. Upgraded at check in without asking which was good. Room was very clean, huge, balcony, lounge area, two enormous tv’s. Wifi was awful. No change of towels unless we requested them and no one came in to service the room. My main moan was the ‘resort fee’ I know most big hotels charge this these days but it’s just an extra charge for something that’s always been included in your room price until recently. It was $150 less to spend gambling!!
Great hotel if you pay the right hotel charges

Cosmo is one of my favourite hotels to stay at; however since the amalgamation with MGM, I’ve had lots of issues with wrong rates being charged to my master card in 2 separate trips. Last trip tv not working to see charges, printer at checkout not working to print out so he said he’d mail me both reservations. Only received one day. Was advised verbally at checkout the charges for both days which were correct but charged some random room rate for the day that was suppose to be comped. What is wrong with their system? Front desk staff did not link the room cards to work in 2nd day. Had to leave pool to get straightened out for my sister which was very inconvenient since I have mobility issues.
Great hotel. AWFUL wifi

Overall we really liked the Cosmpolitan. It was clean and had lots of options for dining and entertainment. We had a wraparound terrace suite and it was very luxurious. All the service was friendly and helpful. But the wifi is horrible. Awful. I see they've had negative reviews for the wifi for a long time, and I really don't understand how it could still be so bad. We had no problems connecting, but then actually using it was awful. Every click took a minute. I know wifi seems so trivial, but it's annoying constantly.
Rooms so disgusting they belong in the Las Vegas Hall of Shame

Review of the Cosmopolitan Hotel, Las Vegas: A Devastating Anniversary Experience My spouse and I recently stayed at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary—a milestone we had eagerly anticipated. After hearing positive things about the hotel, we chose it for what we hoped would be a memorable, romantic experience. Unfortunately, our stay was marred by a series of shocking disappointments that left us heartbroken. Check-In Nightmare The issues began the moment we arrived. Despite informing the hotel in advance that this was a special occasion, we encountered horrendous service right at the check-in desk. We waited almost an hour to check in. The staff told us they were upgrading our room, which initially gave us hope. But that optimism quickly vanished when we arrived at the room. Horrible Room Conditions To say that the room was unacceptable would be an understatement. It was downright filthy and clearly run-down. The smell hit us immediately, but the worst part was discovering bugs on the wall. The bathroom faucet was missing and laying on the side of the sink, while the other faucet got stuck when I tried to wash my hands. The carpets were stained and torn, and the couch was littered with food crumbs. As if that wasn’t enough, the bed was a horror show—stains covered the duvet and bed frame, and there were dirty tissues left in the room. Customer Service Fiasco We contacted customer relations and spoke to Kenny, the only competent person we encountered during our entire stay. He offered to move us to another room, but even this solution became a nightmare. Dealing with the front desk again was a disaster. They were completely unaware of the room change, forcing us to wait another hour—this time in the filthy room we were trying to escape. As a result, we missed our anniversary dinner reservations and ended up eating chicken sandwiches in the food court. The hotel’s inability to manage the situation devastated us, turning what should have been a joyful celebration into a major letdown. More Subpar Accommodations and Service The new room we were moved to wasn’t much better. It still smelled bad, had bugs, and the furniture was beaten up. When we showed housekeeping the bugs and the foul odor, their response was, “That’s not my fault.” That kind of attitude seemed to reflect the overall lack of care and customer service we experienced throughout our stay. Misleading Spa Credits and Fraudulent Charges To make up for the debacle, the hotel gave us a $150 spa credit—an insulting gesture considering the spa’s $350 facials. When I visited the spa, I encountered even more dreadful customer service. Not only did they fail to properly apply the credit, but they also tried to overcharge me for items in the boutique. I had selected a jacket and pants with clearly marked price tags, only to be told at checkout that the prices were 20% higher than indicated. When I protested, I was informed that they mark up everything beyond the price tags! Is that even legal? The whole situation felt like false advertising and deceit. The Only Redeeming Factor: The Restaurants The only bright spot during our stay was the quality of the restaurants in the hotel. But as much as we enjoyed the food, you certainly don’t need to stay in the Cosmopolitan’s filthy, bug-infested rooms to dine there. Conclusion The Cosmopolitan Hotel completely ruined our 25th wedding anniversary. It’s a celebration we can never get back, and the experience left us deeply disappointed. From the horrible customer service to the rundown, unsanitary rooms, the hotel failed on every front. If there’s a Las Vegas Hotel Hall of Shame, the Cosmopolitan belongs at the top of the list. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and respectful stay in Las Vegas, do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.
