Happy with our stay

pinky073 (Central Indiana) on Apr 27, 2024

Overall pretty good. Room was clean except for dirty carpet. My feet were black by the second day so I was careful to use slippers. We were there for a reunion so locked into this hotel. Based on the reviews, we brought our own kcups to use in the provided coffee maker. Towels were thick and nice size, hair dryer worked fine. Customer service was excellent. A line at check in moved quickly. Because I needed to amend my reservation, I asked for a representative rather than a kiosk. Anita was friendly and super efficient, taking care of all our needs. Santino in valet parking was also friendly and very helpful. Thank you to both! Housekeeping came every day and replaced towels and toiletries. The days of perks and comps in Vegas are gone. Food is expensive in all the hotels, but reasonable chain restaurants are close by. We had a great time with a bit of pre-planning and a good attitude going in.

Don't stay at Harrah's!

Maritza M on Apr 26, 2024

The pillows were hard, there was no hooks in the bathroom to hang wet bathing suits. Very little drawer space, awful view out our window (pipes). The WORST part was the pool area, $34.99 for one drink?!? And if you want any shade at all you had to purchase a cabana or a daybed. And after that, no discounts on your 2 drink minimum. Many people I talked with at the pool were just as annoyed with the drink prices. We will NOT return to Harrah's next time we go to Las Vegas.

Huge resort fee for nothing

No towels at the pool on two different days. Internet limited to only two devices or pay $15 per day more. Huge resort fees for incompetence.

Very central location for the strip. Good option for a smaller property.

First of all, if you're a coffee or tea drink, bring your own Keurig coffee/tea pods! The rooms have a single serve Keurig maker, but no complimentary pods. I'm glad I brought our own coffee pods. The minibar does sell a coffee kit, but it's $21.99. I was very skeptical about staying here. I've been visiting Vegas for 20 years and never even went inside Harrah's all the times I've walked by. I was actually surprised that it exceeds my low expectations. We had a room in the Valley Tower on the 24th floor facing the strip. The room was very quiet and had a nice view of the nightly volcano show across the street at the Mirage. Clean room, everyone from the front desk clerk to the housekeeping staff was friendly. What I liked also was the parking was easy. Since it's not a large property, the time it took from parking in the garage to making our way to the room wasn't but a few minutes. No long walks through the casino or through a maze. The location is great. Tucked next to the Venetian and easy walking distance to Fashion Show, Flamingo, the restaurants next to the Linq, and across from The Mirage and Caesar's Palace. There is so much lively activity going on out on the sidewalk. Resort Fee includes only two devices on wifi. Empty mini-fridge in room was nice. No higher-end properties on the strip have that. It's all stocked mini-fridges that you can't use for your own items.

Stay away friends!

Do not go here unless you want to be charged additional non-transparent fees and a needle in your bed! Also, if you want to file a dispute and get Mark or Izzy, just ask for someone else because they will gaslight you and distort the facts!
