We chose the Hilton Garden Inn Los Angeles/Hollywood because of its proximity to the cemetery and services for a funeral we attended. My husband has cat allergies, and the front desk was able to accommodate our request for a pet-free room. (Although we were surprised that there was a dog barking in the room next to ours.) Very comfortable bed and pillows, a small microwave and refrigerator in the room, and clean vinyl flooring (no carpet, which is appreciated). We were in a room that faced Highland, and heard noise early in the morning. You may want to request a room in the back if you need quiet. Room rate was reasonable. Valet parking (with in and out privileges) was $55 per day. All of the staff working in the parking lot were friendly and got our car quickly. Kudos to Juan at the front desk. He went out of his way to find some Lysol spray and napkins so that I could clean my shoe after I stepped in vomit down the street from the hotel. (I don't know if this is a reflection on the neighborhood.)

Front desk helpful. No breakfast included, but attached to TGI Fridays. Elevators quick, room clean, bed comfortable. Fridge and micro in room. Pool available we did not use. No noise despite being on a busy road (maybe ask for rear facing room if that would be a concern). Bathroom glass door kept sliding open due to slope of frame-problem I suppose. Not much in the way of a small bar soap, bring your own, dispenser provides shampoo and conditioner. Soap dish was not affixed well in shower stall. We needed to check out late due to illness and late flight, and Silvia was very helpful with last minute notice. Walking distance (~ 10/15 minutes) to Hollywood Blvd and stars/Chinese Theatre and many touristy attractions. Overall I would consider a return here.

I stayed here while in town for a wedding a few miles away, and I admit I chose this location because I knew there would be walkable attractions and food and it was a great price. I found the staff to be very friendly, the TGI Friday's has an excellent Happy Hour, the pool is lovely and not that crowded, and the room spacious and clean. I did not get to take advantage of the breakfast (also at Friday's) because it was too early for my travel sleep schedule, but the pantry had lots of items for purchase ($$) if you need something quick. It was easy to walk from here to Hollywood and Highland, the heart of all the tourist attractions in this part of town. Could also walk easily to the Hollywood Bowl from here, and while the traffic on Highland is ugly, rideshare drivers were able to get into the lot easily for pickup, so the location is really ideal overall.

Our group received outstanding customer service from the team at this HGI, from start to finish. I book hotel blocks for our production company across the country and in Canada. It is rare we encounter a sales leader that is so on top of every single detail for our guests. Bryan was fast, efficient, friendly, and asked key questions to ensure our group was well cared for during their stay. We tour with our clients year-round and provide tech services for many events at the Hollywood Bowl. I am so glad we have found our home away from home for all our future group blocks there!

I stayed at this hotel with a friend for four nights on a holiday in Califorina. The hotel is nice situated, close to all the main activities in Los Angeles like the walk of fame, Warner Brothers, Universal studies etc. Nice staff, nice restaurant, clean room. The hotel is an affordable alternative in central Los Angeles!
