Great LAX hotel. Loved it.

Wonderful hotel. Huge, modern rooms. Comfortable beds. Full gym with expansive view of the runway. Excellent food through room service. Kind, responsive staff. Shuttle back and forth to LAX so easy. Purified water refilling stations everywhere. A wonderful stay.

Incompetent Management and Service

Biggest disaster of a hotel stay in recent experience. I booked a one bedroom suite at a rate of approximately $400. Upon arrival at 4PM, I was informed that the room was still not ready and will not be ready until at least 6PM. After flying for 17 hours and needing to wake up at 2AM, this simply was not an option. The hotel offered to switch us to 2 regular rooms and $100 credit. The 2 rooms wasn't really necessary but we took the offer as there was no other option for us. After checking later, the standard rooms are usually offered for $150-200. So it feels like the offer was a ripoff and was not what we really wanted anyways. On top of that, one of the rooms given was still filthy and not utilized. The management at this hotel was absolutely horrible and took days to even get a reply back. I did not receive any reply back until contacting corporate. This will be our last stay ever at a Hyatt property.
