Great location

The hotel was great quality and rooms very clean. Closest to airport made it easy to get too and the free shuttle runs 24/7

Great hotel

We stayed here as a “base” to visit family and friends. It was weird with the lobby construction as there was no where to hang out with my family. I loved that our room was clean. The food was pricey but it’s LA! We would stay again for a connecting flight as the airport shuttle was awesome and runs every 15 minutes. You can’t beat that! The gym was pretty decent too!

Book with caution

We chose this hotel due to the proximity to LAX and the shuttle. I had read a negative review related to the shuttle so I asked the front desk about walking versus taking the shuttle. He suggested taking the shuttle and there would be no problems getting on. We showed up in plenty of time at the location the employee told us to wait. We were the third party to arrive and it looked like we had plenty of time to get to the airport. After 15 minutes the shuttle arrives and it is completely full! I asked the woman at the front desk about this and she shrugged and said "that's why we tell you to come 30 minutes before you need to be at the airport". We were never told this and I am not sure it would make a difference. When the first shuttle arrived the driver said there was room for one person. The driver said no worries, another one was coming in 5 minutes. It did. It was also full. We, and everyone else, discovered that there are 2 loading areas. We went to the other one and it was clear we would never get on within 30 minutes. Let's be clear TWO staff members told us where to wait for the shuttle. We ended up walking to our terminal. Thank God we planned to leave with plenty of time. My advice, if you choose to stay at this hotel, consider walking to your terminal. If you take the shuttle do not wait for it where the staff tells you to. Ask where the pick up area is in the parking garage. The second thing to be aware of is that for any food you purchase you will be charged a 20% fee, which is also taxed. We also ordered room service. When it arrived the guy gave me the bill to fill out. There again was a 20% fee. I asked is that the tip? He said "no that's delivery" funny thing is I paid the same 20% fee when I got a drink in the lobby bar. I went to the bar, ordered it and carried it to my room. However, the delivery guy was insistent the 20% was not a tip and I would need to add a tip. I did this but really was not looking to pay 40% above the overpriced cost of the food. For the cost of the hotel, and based on what the staff said, I expected more. Be warned. The room itself was very nice, which is why I did not give 1 star.

Overall Pleased with Stay

my husband and were in LA for a quick weekend visit. there was some construction in the lobby we didn't plan on spending much time here other than to sleep. We could see the run way from our room (we had a King Upper Floor City View) but did not hear any of the airplanes taking off or landing. The room was pretty clean although the couch had many stains on it and window could use a good cleaning. the bathroom door was a slider and did not have a lock so keep that in mind. Overall we were pleased with our stay and overall value of hotel. I would stay here again if in town for another quick weekend.
