Pros: Close to airport. Cons: The hotel and rooms are struggling for renovation. Ton of different stains, mold, overall dirt. Likely bedding was clean.
Convenient but somewhat expensive.

I didn’t realize they levy a $100/day deposit which is returned after you check out. For a five day stay, this added $500 to my to my bill plus fees and taxes—a shock. All turned out fine in the end but I wished they had informed me ahead of time about that. I think things just cost more in California. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and functional, so I was happy. Wifi, fridge, nearby ice machine. No microwave. A minor glitch was that, sometimes, I had to run the water for a shower for 5’ before getting any hot water. Not every time. Also, I wished they had creamer for the coffee in the room. The convenience of the hotel next to LAX is indisputable. The free shuttle takes a few minutes to and from LAX. Though not many restaurants are close by except other hotel restaurants, Rinaldi’s Deli just down the street has excellent breakfast croissant sandwiches, delicious Cobb salads, and their magical ginger lemon tonic might be able to cure all ills! They run a brisk service weekdays only until 4 pm. The hotel restaurant is prohibitively expensive, for me, so Rinaldi’s was a godsend.
