Amazing Entertainment and good food!!

Good food, entertainment and good accommodations!! Great resort! We were well taken care of by the friendly staff. Room service available around the clock and the food was always hot and ready. The entertainment crew kept us entertained throughout with various activities and dance moves that we learnt. There were also times where all we did was stretch out on the lounge chair by the pool soaking up music and sun. Amazing!!

My experience at Breathless Resort Jamaica

This place is false advertisement, I would not spend money to go here again. It’s over priced for no reason. The customer service 4/10 I won’t recommend. Our room had roaches and wet clothe smell. Additionally, if you’re not a prefer customer, don’t expect it to be served. No one care at all. We were able to go to secret Saint James, which had more option for restaurants. Food was good, breathless only has really good to restaurant. If you want you would have to go to secret. They have more choices which you’re able to do it for free but it’s just inconvenient.
Terrible hotel in paradise

We went there on our honeymoon, we're from California. First thing, we get there and they tell us that the room we reserved was not available. They offered us the 'presidential suite' instead. We had butler service as well. We thought at first, great. Not so, the suite had a theme from the mid 70's and the furniture seemed to have been in the room since it was popular. The mini bar was a small refrigerator with soda, water, and 4 beers. There are no ice machines and when we asked our butler for ice, it took forever to get it. The room has a hot tub on the deck, unfortunately, we couldn't get water to stay in it due to the drain leaking and even after they 'fixed it' well enough to get water to somewhat stay in it, the jets did not work! We decided to try the one in the bathroom, filled it with water and only one of the three jets worked! Worse still, water leaked out of the side when we turned on the one jet, enough that it caused me to slip and fall. We complained, nothing was addressed. The hair dryer did not work and it took three hours to get another. The phone would ring, but when you pick it up, nobody was there. Then lights start flashing on the phone, but you could not check messages. To call the front desk we had to use the phone in the bathroom. The butler service was near non existent. For instance, we asked for lounge chairs with an umbrella at the pool. We were informed that they were out of umbrellas! How do you run out of umbrellas in the Caribbean! We would let them know the issues, but they obviously had no desire to help. The hotel has a 'sister' hotel, and it's a good thing that it does. We spent the bulk of our time there due to the fact that all but 3 of the restaurants were located at the sister resort as well as the only beach access. Constantly having to go back and forth became exhausting. We wanted authentic Jamaican food, but instead found nothing but Mexican (which was terrible) Italian, Teppanyaki, and French. The one 'Jamaican' restaurant had a very limited menu, basically fish or ox tail. We complained about all of these things to one of the upper managers, I do not recall his name, and he also did nothing at all to help. There were a few employees who did a very good job of trying to put a good spin on things, Twiggy, Kevin Lawrence, and a hostess at the breakfast restaurant, but even they knew that things weren't as they should be. My wife even had her ear pods 'disappear' when the room was cleaned. She shared the tracking with the butler, but he would do nothing to help other than suggest to have the police get involved which would require leaving the resort, which is also costly and time consuming. The resort is not friendly when it comes to leaving unless it is for one of their 'suggested excursions'. They play loud music all day around the pool, which cannot be escaped even if you are in your room. It would be okay if it were Jamaican music. The music that is played is the same thing that you would hear at any American night club that is catering to 20 to 30 year olds. I don't need to go to Jamaica to hear that music. When it was time to check out, the management and the butlers were nowhere to be found. Instead, a young girl at the desk heard about our issues and apologized. She had a paper offering us 'points' on a future stay. I asked to see a manger about this, but none could be found. Thankfully I have a wonderful wife, but without her it would have been nothing short of atrocious. I could go on and on, but I'm running out of room. Basically, I would not recommend it to anyone that I care about, it was absolutely horrible. Spend your money elsewhere. Jamaica is wonderful, Breathless is not.
