The room was not appealing as the cabinets and furniture all nook rotted and damaged. The bed sheets had a consistent damp feeling like the sheets were not fully dried before putting them on the bed. I paid for a butler service that was a waste of time as my butler was assigned to many other individuals (one being a bride and groom having a destination wedding) so any request made was a afterthought and severely delayed. I had to resolve all my request as a general guest dispute paying for this service. Additionally, getting someone on the phone for something as small as additional towels was near impossible. Room service food was deplorable and being informed of simple things like where to find the pools towels was a definitive task as the staff was more lackadaisical in their their approach to support guest. As a solo traveler visiting that the top of the week (mon- thurs) I felt ignored. I had better expectations from Hyatt Brand resort but this felt closer to a Motel 6 (at least they leave the lights on). Oh did I mention that power and water was off mid day- a great experience to have while showering,

The staff there make you feel welcome, they have such an uplifting spirit, always in the best of moods. The entertainment team is phenomenal. The restaurant staff is so pleasant. A few that was amazing were Jeavon, Jodi Ann, Theresa, Kimberly,T-jay, Melissa, Reaka , Sky, and Kai, these staff members made our stay worthwhile.

We arrived at the hotel late (5:30pm) on a Sunday due to flight delays. We weren’t able to connect with our butler until the following morning. Our butler gave us a few hints and tricks but I honestly didn’t hear from him much. No direct beach access. You have to go next door to Secrets to enjoy shows and the gym. Gym is really tight also. Avoid early in the morning if you want a decent workout. Hotel overall is a little on the smaller side. We had a swim up suite room which to others point was a little dated. They serviced our room one day but didn’t have any towels per housekeeping but she would have some sent up. Upon the evening return still no towels. I had to walk down to the front desk to ask for towels. They ended up bringing two sets and kept asking every night thereafter if I needed towels. Next door neighbors were excessively loud into the wee hours of the night. A little bit of a younger crowd on the Breathless side. I can’t compete with the noise and restless nights. Overall as a travel advisor, this isn’t some place where I would send my clients for the amount of money I paid.

Rating is for the Amstar service within Breathless only. Rating is not for breathless. The best part of this day is the m star service that was given by Nicole from within the hotel Nicole was very attentive from proactive instead of reactive and followed up with any of her tasks that were necessary to fulfill our trips needs. Nicole provided more than excellent customer service and our excursion and transportation needs were above and beyond exceptional service by Nicole.. She should be in charge of training other staff members to provide the same type of service her service exceeded the hotel service as well The star rating NOT a reflection of the hotel but the rating is for the service of Amstar that was within the hotel.

We had the BEST time celebrating mine and my friends 40th birthdays here! Sky, Cuban and the other entertainers were amazing and so much fun! The room was beautiful and we loved the shower! I would definitely recommend this resort to others.
