Breathless was the best resort I have stayed at everything from beginning to end was amazing the room service was top tier I ate so much lol I need a detox

Breathless was a magical vacation thanks to so many wonderful staff members who treated us like family. The whole E Team was welcoming, fun, and kind. Knaz, West, Ixi, Red Stripe and Cassie all take their job very seriously to ensure we had a fantastic time. The food was amazing as well. I have 18 food allergies and the kitchen staff and servers were consistently attentive to my needs. My favorite part was all the dancing we had from lessons and entertainment!! The best part of Breathless is the access to Secrets. The beach was clean, beautiful, and we even got a private snorkeling lesson from one of the lifeguards! I cannot wait to go back.

The service is not what they advertised. The rooms have a smell to them because of the humidity and everything is wet. When I informed the receptionist she seemed bothered as if I insulted her. The see through shower has mold and gray water streaks throughout every part of the glass. We asked if if can be cleaned so we can see through it and we were told no they can not fix it. Also as advertised the tablets that make the room more modern are” just for show” that’s what we were told by the front desk. We paid for a more modern room and it’s not what we got, for all that we could’ve booked at secrets because that’s where all the fun is. Also about that BREATHLESS only has two pools one main pool and then a tiny pool on the roof that fits about six people. The food at this resort is mediocre the service as well. It’s like a roller coaster sometimes you have a genuine server who actually care about your experience and then you have one who treats you like **** . Secrets has about four pools beach access all up and down the island swim up bars and multiple restaurants. You may find it that you were going to secrets every night to eat out because breathless has three options and they do not do events like secrets does. I just want you to be aware that we are a couple in our late 20s and everyone here is about 40 and above. It is not a resort for young people. The most fun you will see happening in this resort is people dancing in the lobby to a TV? There are so many things wrong with this resort do not book it, and go to RIU your money will be better spent, and you will get more for your buck. Also, the excursions desk could care less after you book your trips. Me and my partner found ourselves in a predicament because the bioluminescent lagoon did not glow at all not even a little bit after the trip we were told the reasons why it didn’t because the weather was not great and you can’t walk while you’re in the lagoon because it kicks up mud Mind you the workers at the excursion do this every day why we weren’t worn about it I’m not sure but it doesn’t matter once you complete the trip you completed we tried to get a refund and was given back $40 when the trip cost us 150 we seen no blow at all. The other excursions with Chukka weren’t that bad we enjoyed it a bit but it wasn’t a good enough experience for what we paid, so not only is this resort and the excursions over price but the service is terrible. Do not book here.

Came here to celebrate an anniversary with my boyfriend as it was advertised as a “fun party resort” that had “beautiful rooms and amenities”. This couldn’t be further from the truth. This resort was extremely small with just one pool, 2 restaurants, rooms that weren’t clean, and the hospitality was HORRIBLE. the only people that were nice were the servers at the buffet. Other than that the people were rude or spoke to us as we were less than for requesting a new room that was cleaner or simply asking where certain events were held. The only thing that kept this trip tolerable was the fact that we could go to the connected resort, secrets. If you are older than 35 this may be the resort for you as everyone here was much older. If you are younger DO NOT COME TO THIS RETIREMENT HOME. (The own staff called it a retirement home) The rooms are not cleaned, the service isn’t either, and there is nothing fun about this place.
