Post Christmas stay

emh107 (Woodbridge, Connecticut) on Jan 09, 2025

We were in downtown Nashville for 3 nights and one night here. We got to the resort at 11 so we could see all the sights. The Christmas decorations were beautiful. The Ice was great but we were done in 20 minutes. We were upgraded to a balcony room overlooking the atrium. That was a mistake. There was a person screaming or singing on the atrium from 3-6 on the morning of 12/31. I called the desk 2 different times. We were in Cascades. I’ll never stay in any atrium rooms again. The room was clean, but there was a bathtub shower and the plug to the tub was broken. At this price point, there should be walk in showers. The towel quality was also poor. I also thought it was odd that we couldn’t charge any of our purchases at the food establishments and beverage huts to the room. It would have been nice to get the extra points for all the purchases we made in the resort. Next time, I will stay at the Joseph and come out to Opryland for a few hours.

Fantastic place to stay!

CathyG S (Sac City, Iowa) on Jan 09, 2025

Fantastic place to stay! Yes it is expensive. My daughter had her company discount since she had been to a convention in the resort the week before. She had a room with another room for entertaining included. The beds were comfortable. So many things to see in the resort. The Christmas decorations were super great! The Garden area is beautiful! The Delta area is also lovely with several waterfalls & the river ride (we did not do). Of course the Ice Sculpture show was great! the Grand Ole Opry is at the end of the resort. It is a distance from downtown so we took an Uber when we wanted to go downtown.
