Relaxing at its fineat

Sandals Royal Plantation is an amazing Resort! Breathtaking views, luxury accommodations, great dining and beverage options, and wonderful entertainment!! This resort checks all boxes if you want to relax and be pampered. What it lacks in size, they make up for in service. All the staff at SRP are amazing!! Each staff member goes out of their way to be sure each guest are taken care of minute by minute. From the GM, Omar constantly walking through the property engaging with all guest and staff, to our butlers, Andre and Johovan, taking care of our every need. This is truly our home away from home. Thank you again to all the staff at SRP!!
The perfect location for relaxation

We spent 8 days at the Royal Plantation from 10/19-10/26. You will not find better service and friendly employees anywhere. The staff takes its lead from the GM Omar who is the most hands on GM I have ever interacted with. The resort comes with a butler and we had 2 taking care of all our needs for the week. We traveled with 3 other couples and we were so well taken care of we barely had to think for ourselves. Our butlers were Richard and Duwayne. They were exceptional and always there to make sure our vacation was relaxing and stress free. The food was top notch. The chef was also very accommodating to our dietary needs. The men played golf at the Sandals course and had a great time. Our caddies Andrea and Travis new exactly ever break on the greens and were even helpful giving tips and swing fixes. High tee daily was a favorite for my wife. We wish more Sandals resorts would incorporate this. The resort only has 73 rooms so there is plenty of room on the beach and no fighting over chairs. The beach butlers keep the drinks flowing and food coming all day. The rooms are small and basic but we don’t spend much time In The room so that is not an issue.
Returning to our Jamaican Familt

This was our 7th visit. Every visit has been different but familiar. We consider the staff our Jamaican family. We are excited for the renovations new paint colors on the exteriors, and Jerk Shack to be completed in the next 6 months. Upper management Omar, Marvin, Lancelot and Chef Martin are the best! House and beach butlers make every visit special. Thank you Biggz, Alrick, Orayne, Coombs, Robert, Gladstone, Marvin, Romane,Delgado, and Trevardo. Great bartenders Collin, Garnet(crocodile) and Jr. Special thanks to Tresell who kept the drinks flowing. Our room was always nice and clean thank you Monique and refrigerator stocked thanks Christopher. The people at the front desk and the Gift shop are fun and helpful Megel was awesome. Beach and pool areas are alway clean and well kept plenty of beach towels, even with all the rain. One day the rain started pouring and we had all our beach stuff on the chairs, my husband went to go get them and the water sports had taken and put the items under cover. Everything was dry. Great people. The food servers have a special place in our hearts. We are greeted each morning and Lunch by Stephanie, Sherika, Tianna and Vayna. The evenings were special as well greeted by Nicole served by Chevron and the new trainees were super helpful. It is the people who work at this resort are the reason we continue to vacation at Royal Plantation. We love the beaches both East and West side always plenty of loungers. The pool is well maintained and nice as well as the hot tubs. The loyalty team helped us with our next reservations! Can’t wait to return!
Another year with friends and family at SRP

We made our yearly trip to Jamaica and our home away from home. The best part of the vacation was connecting with our Sandals family. • Water Sports team: Fabian, Tivawne, Lloyd, Wade, Chad Wayne, Jovan • Beach Butlers - Trevado, Daniello, Romaine • Bartenders and Servers - Junior, Juvaine, Delano, Romaine, Trachelle, Garcia, Chevon, Sheena • Entertainers - Alex and Brandon • Butlers - Andre & Johovan, Adrian & Alrick, Chase, Marvin, Cheryl & Gladstone, Tamar, Bebeato • Food and Beverage managers - Lancelot and Hushane • Guest Services - Marvin and Roshane • Photoshop – Rodrigo • Island Routes tour desk - Darren (Ochi). We met Darren several years ago when he was working at the Plantation before he transferred to Ochi. Each year we track him down to say hi and see how he is doing. This year he found us while we were ordering pizzas and Jerk Chicken. • Shuttle driver - David We love spending our days sitting on the beach (water sports side) interacting with the guys from water sports and the beach butlers. They take the time to share their culture with us. They take excellent care of us. They are always very polite, happy, respectful, and engaging. They are very concerned about us and do everything possible to make sure we feel welcome and enjoy our vacation. We will continue to make this trip each year to SRP as long as we get to see our family. We hope this never changes. A special thank you to --- • Roshane - He was there when we needed assistance on our first night. Our room keys were not working. He went above and beyond to get our keys working. I think he made 3 separate trips between our room and the front desk to get the keys working. • Marvin and Lancelot – these gentlemen also went above and beyond to deliver our 'special request'. • Johovan (our butler) - he went to the store to get me cranberry juice when the bars ran out. We also enjoyed a great night of entertainment at the Rabbit Hole (Ochi) courtesy of Lady Melissa. She was wonderful. We were happy to meet and engage with the new GM, Omar. He is very approachable and a needed change. For the bad ... • the restrooms on the water sports side of the beach were out of order the entire time. We were there for 10 days and each day we had to walk up the stairs to the other side of the property for a restroom break. I had heard they had been out of order for at least 3 weeks prior. • AC was not working in the Wobbly Peacock most of our stay. It was temporarily repaired on day 7. We booked the Viceroy room. Several improvements to the rooms were nice, but the money spent could have been put to better use (i.e. fixing the AC and Restrooms or adding another restaurant/bar or designing a better way to get down to the beach). Room improvements - wall paper, changed artwork, upgraded mirrors in the bath, partial glass surround for the shower replaced the shower curtain, changed the furniture in the sitting area. In my opinion, the glass surround for the shower was a waste. It did nothing to control the shower spray. Each time we took showers, we used two towels to soak up the water. (So much for being environmentally conscious.) My husband wants the comfy chair and ottoman back in the sitting area.
Nice but not my cup of tea!

Booked this holiday 2 years ago. Beautiful views, very clean and staff are very helpful and can't do enough for you. Omar the manager is a real gem, mingles with guests, knows their names and was even taking lollies to guests on the beach yesterday! You don't get many managers like that. Our butlers were great especially Richard he always seemed to know where we was ad always surprised us with iced coffees and food. That's the good points, now the not so good. Avoid shopping trip this is pre arranged at certain shops, we was heavily pressured into buying items and I don't like that. They said rum could be carried on plae it couldn't husband had to put it I his rucksack and it had to be checked in. When we got to Gatwick 1 of 3 bottles were broke. Our cases had been tampered with Jamaica end, husbands luggage strap had disappeared and the front of my case had been opened. Very limited food, ended up eating sae things on restaurants, they had a jamican night which was very good. Went to Ochi but very noisey. Pool tiny and certain guests go down very early ad get all the best ones but nothing is done about it, this group are known as the VIP's as they go all the time, how dull going to the same place.
