From the moment we arrived at Royal Plantation we were treated like special guests. Practically every worker no matter what job they did knew us by name personally. There were so many special people that gave us outstanding service I can’t name them all but Omar the manager obviously does an outstanding job. We had our own private butler that was there to help us do or find anything we wanted. It was not hard to reach our butler and most of the time he or she sought us out. The accommodations are wonderful with a lovely beach area and a nice pool. This is a smaller more intimate resort so very easy to navigate. Food available whenever and wherever you wanted it. They would make you almost anything you wanted. Highly recommend. We kayaked and snorkeled right at the resort. Everything was easy and honestly the most relaxing vacation we’ve ever taken. Some of the people that made our experience so amazing are Norayne and Safeya, our butlers, Marvin who drove us to the other Sandals resort because he didn’t want us to have to wait, Kimisha, all the Romains, Danielle and so may others whose name escape me.

Our first time to SRP We are diamond members and have visited many Sandals resorts but SRP was phenomenal. From the moment we entered the sandals lounge at the airport to the day we departed the service was absolutely first class. The team at SRP ate led by Omar the GM He is a very special Man, all of the staff adore him and he adores them too. He knows every guests name and every evening he goes around the restaurants and greets the guests The staff we remember as being extra special were Janet our house keeper, Junior and Crocodile in the Wobbly Pracock Trevado the beach butler All of the water sports lads, Our butlers Orayne and Sophia were amazing Ramesh in TL The guest service manager a fantastic guy always happy and smiling, Also Marvin Omar's number 2 We were there for Xmas and new year The accomodation, service, restaurants, cleanliness were 100% Over driver Martin was adorable to We have booked again for Xmas and new year We have fallen in love with Omar, his amazing team and SRP Thankyou

All I have to say about Sandals Royal Plantation. Where in the world can you go to a resort and have your flight cancelled and the GM (Omar) is waiting on all guests that were cancelled to help rebook and extend people’s stay if needed. The service here is way more than anyone can ask for. Very personal treatment, made everyone very comfortable and relaxed after the high stressed morning. Thank you Omar and the Sandals crew

We were originally booked at Sandals Royal Caribbean but got relocated due to the Hurricane. We were worried that it would be just a 'fill in' and not up to the level we originally reserved-a beachfront room right on the beach with a soaking tub and a Dutler. We had little options left when we booked and chose Royal Plantation. We added Club Mobay which was a great idea for arrival and departure. Since we had visited Jamaica at Couples resorts 5 times previously, we knew Club Mobay was the way to get efficiently through the airport and Custome/Immigration. Our first introduction to the trip, was our private transport from the airport to the resort in a BMW-very comfortable for that 90 minute trip. Our driver was friendly and adept at the crazy traffic maneuvering that had to be done. Our arrival was lovely-singing staff with champagne awaited us and introduced us to our Butler who quickly got us settled and comfortable. This resort is very boutique and lovely-only 74 rooms which means the staff all know your name and it is a very personalized experience. The Butlers are outstanding and literally go out of their way to provide anything you want-you just have to ask. The food is absolutely outstanding as well-presentation, portions, menu selection, and overall taste and quality. We have never had better food or more options-who can complain about lobster for lunch served in your room or poolside? Butlers provide endless beverages and check on your refill status continuously. They provide additional extras like cheese and crackers in your room every afternoon, special reservations if you want to trysomewhere else, taxi service-you name it. For those with mobility issues, getting to the beach is quite tough-at least 50 stairs to get there and that means 50 stairs back. Most rooms have a step that separates the room from the bar/balcony area which can be easily missed or forgotten about and a real hazard. Most rooms do NOT have walk in showers so upgrades are nexessary for that convenience. Steep steps to get in the hot tub as well, so not for the handicapped. The beds are divinely comfortable and lines are top notch quality. Very few balconies are outside your room-most are French with just sliding doors-not what we had originally reserved. The staff assisted us with our mobility issues and made sure we had a room that was safe for us-that was outstanding. I have never knownmore accommodating staff anywhere. Overall, this is a lovely resort with many, many repeat customers, as you will fall in love with the atmosphere, food, staff and entire experience. We would definitely consider coming back since we met so many nice people we want to mingle with again as well as we want to have the RP experience again. The General Manager is exceptional and the entire staff love their jobs-you can see it and hear it in every area of this resort. If you are not into crowds and loud entertainment or activities but want to soak in the sun, atmosphere and RP excperience, this is a total win!

My wife and I want to share our appreciation for the outstanding experience we had at Sandals Royal Plantation. When our vacation was shifted from Royal Caribbean to Royal Plantation due to Hurricane Melissa, we were unsure what to expect. Honestly, we may never have chosen SRP otherwise—but what we found was truly exceptional. From arrival, the experience exceeded expectations. Being greeted by name by the General Manager and our butler immediately upon arrival set the tone for a level of hospitality that remained consistent throughout our stay and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Our butlers were outstanding—always available, attentive, and proactive. From meals to planning our week, every detail was handled effortlessly. We experienced a level of care and service that went well beyond anything we’ve encountered elsewhere. This was our fifth Sandals vacation, and without question, our best. While all Sandals resorts are excellent, the team at Sandals Royal Plantation raised the bar. They have earned our loyalty for life. We’ve already changed our 2026 visit to return here and booked an additional week for 2027. We can’t wait to come back.
