From the moment you arrive at the Sandals lounge in the Jamacian airport until the time you leave, someone is always taking care of you. We went to renew our wedding vows. For many reasons I believe this was the place we were meant to be. The moment i realized that was whe we met out wedding coordinator Santenia. I have an Ostomy. That is, I have is a bag on my stomach attached to my bowels. (Unfortunately I have lost my self confidence because of this) Many times while trying to book our trip and excursions I had questions about how things could accommodate my situation. No one was able to give me answers and my fear was that I was not going to be able to do anything. No one knew what an Ostomy was and said I had to wait and talk to someone when I get there. When we met Santenia she knew exactly what I was going through and explained that there is very little awareness about Ostomies in Jamaica. During our stay she encouraged me and gave me the confidence to be me. For the first time since having my surgery 6 years ago I was able to walk around with my head up instead of hiding away. She truly was a gift and made my experience even more beautiful. The rest of the staff was wonderful and amazing. Everyone is kind, caring and a lot of fun. We will definitely be back. We stayed in a butler suite in the great house. Peta was helpful as our butler but we probably did not need them. The food was okay and the entertainment was hit or miss. The private driver was not worth it. Best drinks were at the Speakeasy bar which was the highlight of the trip. The beach in the shade was awesome. The fishing was not great. Eight people is to many and the crew was okay. Someone got sea sick and they did not seem to care. Had great time on Dunn River tour. Would I go to this resort again probably not but we will give another Sandals a chance.
