No room soundproofing but great location!

- walls very thin. All night (after midnight) could hear kids in the above room running around, with thumps squeals, etc. I don't mind kids having fun; but poor construction allows for me to hear them -toilet ran throughout night, seemingly when other rooms flushed their toilets -potato chip crumbs as entered room in the public hallway. Throughout stay those chips were there. So they were there before, during, and likley after so poor vaccuming - bathroom towels cheap and thin/scratchy. Didn't do a good job of actually drying. - the motion lights would constantly turn off even when we're in room. Just maybe in bed without moving doesn't mean we want lights off. - breakfast was lacking. When ordered food from main dining area, could tell eggs were powered. They came out wet, sold cubes, and room temp/cold. Yuck. - same with the waffle. - The potatos were excellent, however, hot and crispy. Same with the bacon. - self parking confusing. Only because the check in staff told me to place room card on reader and to hit help button if issues. When drove to the reader, the gate swung open without my key card. I still placed on it but nothing happened. Tried help button but no answer. Cars were behind me so I just drove through. Same thing happened when exited. - but the main issues overall was the room itself and the constant seeping in of outside noise. From the ceilings, through the walls, the door there was seemingly a constant barrage of thumps, squeals, scratches, bumps, foot steps, voices, outside widow noise, etc. I don't need dead silence but man, unless you sleep through an aerial bombardment, I think most would have trouble sleeping. At best you might sleep some but it will be disturbed throughout the nights. Which is troubling since we are likely exhausted from park visits so rest is key for the next day. So for that reason, I won't stay here again when visiting Orlando parks which is a shame considering how close to Epic Universe it is. - on the good side, the free bus to City walk and Epic Universe was easy, quick (no more than 20 minutes wait). We used it twice, leaving the car at the hotel parking and was super convenient. - getting into the park an hour early was super helpful in actually getting to maximize the day in park (though other hotels offer the same) - we did see a small bar but located right in the check-in lobby was not super appealing as a place to hang out. -no idea if the market served dinner but didn't look very appealing as a dining area (and breakfast confirmed it) so glad we went with Atlantic for dinner in Epic which was very good. - the Starbucks coffee was great but pricey (2 coffees regularly ran us $16 or so). With quick bites to eat can easily hit $40+ for not very good food. - the room rate was very reasonable and is honestly the only reason to stay here besides location. So think carefully about your food options and ability to sleep. -Imagine being in a haunted house, with stairs creaking, walls rattling, distant but nearby voices coming in through the ceiling, walls and doors. If you think, yep, I can sleep through that, then this is your place!
Family fun

Modern hotel that is esthetically beautiful and super clean. Our room was spacious and we had a pool view. There’s a tiny shop for merch. They have a coffee bar and a quick service restaurant. Both were good in a pinch.
Convenient to Epic Universe but needs more food options.

Let's start with the good: The hotel is nice and close to Epic Universe. They have shuttles that will take you to CityWalk, Epic Universe, and Volcano Bay. The hotel is also easy to find. Rooms were nice, and the mattresses were great. Everything was clean and quiet. Now the bad: The shuttle service from Volcano Bay back to the hotel was a mess. We waited at the pickup location for 40 minutes before I called Guest Services — only to get disconnected after explaining the issue. I called Terra Luna, who said they weren’t in charge of shuttles, then got transferred again before finally being told the shuttle would arrive in 15 minutes. So in total, we waited nearly an hour just to get back to the hotel. “Inconvenient” is putting it very, very nicely. The food options were really lacking. We ordered breakfast our first day, but didn’t even eat half of it. After that, we decided to go elsewhere for breakfast. We went to HHN, and since the park closed at 2 a.m., we finished early and got back around midnight — but everything at the hotel was closed. No late-night snack, no drink options. (If we had stayed at Endless Summer hotels, food options would’ve still been available.) Because the area is so new, there’s also nothing around the hotel — no stores, no restaurants. If you don’t have a vehicle, you’re completely reliant on the hotel, and the options are very limited (especially late at night when everything’s closed). In conclusion: This is a nice hotel in a convenient location for Epic Universe, but I don’t think I’d stay here again until the surrounding area is more developed. It would have received a higher rating if the food options would have been available and decent.
Great Universal resort on a budget!

I enjoyed our recent stay! Lobby, marketplace, store and bar area all in 1 main lobby with view of the lovely pool and I liked the chill vibe that never felt crowded. Marketplace food was very good (had breakfast and dinner there, turkey burger with sweet fries was tasty and good size!), coffee and while I did not get to the pool (did Epic Universe for 2nd visit with express pass for 1 day and had to work the next day), I thought it had ample lounge chairs, cute sandy area for kids, zero entry and a cool bar/grill restaurant for a relaxing recover-from-theme-park-fatigue day. Shuttles to Citywalk and Epic came every 10 minutes or shorter - quick ride and easy to hop on and off. Florida or Passholder rate was a steal - I would stay here again esp for Epic!
New Hotel Close to Epic Universe!

We loved our stay at Universal's Terra Luna Resort! The hotel is brand new and thoughtfully designed. It is close to Universal's New Park, Epic Universe, and offers a convenient shuttle to all of Universal's Parks. Rooms were quite large and could easily accommodate a family of four. Rooms was very clean. Hotel features a nice pool, a small store with Universal merch, and an arcade. There are also several food options and bars. Compared to what we typically pay at Disney Hotels we thought the price we paid was a great value. Front desk staff was fantastic - I want to give a special shoutout to Andrea who checked us in. She was absolutely fantastic (We arrived very late after several flight delays) and made what had been a hectic day so much better! Thank you Andrea!
