Nice for once
E T (The Hague, The Netherlands) on Mar 23, 2026
First when we arrived we were impressed, however we experienced it not so good. No normal breakfast, after asking the girl was very friendly and made for us a normal breakfast. It was very noisy, we could hear the people speaking in the room above and a lot of noise from the hall. There were no shelves in the cabinet, no hooks in the washing area, curtains were terrible to close. And more of that annoying little things in the room, no realm in the hotel. Once and never again, prefer the good old hotels. Shuttle service was excellent as well as parks and airport, arranged before, fortunately because nobody knew something about airport shuttle.
Swanky Fun Mod Comfort!

The hotel gleams and glistens in the sun and shines on the inside as well. The lobby is expansive and reminds one of a retro airport with those 'mod' vibes. Great amenities! Pool is magnificent, the staff at the poolside bar are fun and welcoming. Dining is quick service but good. The rooms are LARGE with comfy beds and fantastic bathrooms with walk in showers. Its a super fun vibe and just a 4 minute drive to Universal Epic via the bus (or a 12 minute drive to Universal/Islands of Adventure by bus)
Great experience for first park owned hotel

This is the newest universal hotel and close to epic universe. Hotel is space themed and we just loved the unique tile work on the exterior. We stayed on the top floor and it seemed as though it may have a higher ceiling than the lower floor which made the room appear larger. Simple but clean room. Plenty of elevators so we never had to wait long. Beautiful outdoor pool area with bar and grill. There were also games like ping pong and corn hole as well as noodles and life vests. Efficient luggage storage and friendly staff throughout. I especially appreciate how excited all the staff was about the parks and resorts giving us personal suggestions. We took an Uber to the restaurant at Helios resort for an upscale dinner since only counter service is available here. At $130 a night with early park admission and shuttle we found this to be a great value. Food and drinks were pricey but expected.
Poor housekeeping DO NOT STAY!!

The hotel was really nice. When we checked in on Sunday we were told housekeeping comes every other day. When we got back to our room Tuesday night we found the room not cleaned (see pictures). When checking in they sent a text saying that if you ever need anything to text them. I sent them a text stating that the room and not been serviced and we needed more towels. They brought up 4 towels. On Wednesday we returned to our room and it still wasn’t cleaned. The trash was over flowing and towels piling up. I sent another text letting them know it wasn’t serviced again. The reply I got was that it was reported as cleaned on Tuesday at 3:15pm. Why would I have sent a text stating that it had not been cleaned and requested more towels. That should have thrown up a red flag. The moral of the story is that the Terra Nova resort doesn’t care about the experience they give their customers. I would not recommend that you stay there ever!
Lovely family stay

Great location for universal. Buses run regular so not too much waiting around. Our room was very clean and spacious, we travelled with 2 adults and 2 teens (18 & 14) Coffee shop (market) and cafe were very handy in the hotel - cafe food isn’t amazing but it certainly does the trick after a busy day at park. Staff all so helpful and polite. Would recommend
