I felt like I was someone special. All staff made me feel like priority. Everyone was soo kind…Thank you all!

Erica L on Jun 08, 2024

While visiting Phoenix, I decided to get some quiet time. This resort is stunning every corner you turn there’s more and more beauty, not only in the structure but in staff as well. Every person I came in contact with made me feel as if I was priority. Lindsey was the manager on duty she made sure I was accommodated in every way. Rivers, the receptionist was extremely kind. I felt she went above and beyond what receptionists do she ordered my food and even delivered it to me at the adult pool that is exclusive and private… for Adults only ahhhh. Oh and my favorite part….Monique!! She was my masseuse, she took the time and effort to make sure I was comfortable her skilled touch worked wonders, I walked out feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. Her technique was like no other massage therapist I’ve had in the past. She relieved my tension, and immediately I felt the circulation back in my hands. I am truly grateful for the experience I had at the Arizona Grand Resort. I plan on returning ASAP Thanks for everyone’s hard work on making me feel so special.

An Amenity Bound Desert Oasis.

Room-in-my-suitcase (Ottawa, Canada) on Jun 05, 2024

The Arizona Grand Resort & Spa is a holiday mecca at the base of the the South Mountain Preserve. With an impressive array of perks, the resort boasts an inviting spa, a gargantuan 20,000 square foot athletic club, culinary venues with 6 distinct on-site restaurants, a championship golf course and an expansive waterpark accompanied by a bevy of recreational facilities. I found luxurious comfort in a Grande Guest Suite with a king bed and a private patio. The suite had a residential feel and a large work desk was perfect for my business chores. With so many eating possibilities, it was hard to make a choice but I selected the casual Lobby Grill with open air kitchen & wood fired oven. I fueled my appetite with French Onion Soup, Grilled Salmon and Cinnamon Sugar Donut Holes........all quite savory. So, if you want to lap in the luxury of the desert landscape.........then try the.................. .......Arizona grand Resort & Spa............an amenity bound desert oasis.

Not an awesome place for relaxation or for a work conference!

Linda Y on Jun 05, 2024

This place is huge! I stayed here in early June for a work conference. The daily temperatures reached 100+ degrees! Depending on the location of your room, the walking distance is about 1/4 mile to the conference rooms. Given the resort fees that are added to the daily rates they charge, it would be nice if the bottled water that is supplied in the rooms was complimentary. I understand a surcharge for the candy and cookies but adding an extra an extra expense for water is ridiculous. Also, this is not a resort you would come to if you’re trying to relax. Even at the smaller pools, there’s constant activity of cleaning staff in and out of the gates and pushing carts all around. I do want to add that the front desk staff has been very friendly and helpful with all my questions. The staff in the business office were super helpful and friendly also. My room was very clean and quite spacious. During my first nights stay there were car alarms going off at 3am.

Birthday Staycation Success!

brianna B on May 31, 2024

We went to the grand a couple weeks ago to celebrate my son’s birthday. Karly and Sully (Emily) were absolute gems and really made my family and I feel welcomed. Between rides on golf carts, the waterpark, all of the water fountains (my son loved all of them) and of course the amazing coffee in the lobby we had most amazing time. Upon check out we were greeted with warm goodbyes by Sully and Demi wishing my son once again a happy birthday! Thank you Arizona Grand for the amazing stay! We will definitely be returning in the near future.

Disappointed and will not be back

varelainvegas (Yorba Linda, California) on May 26, 2024

Unfortunately, we will not be back to this hotel. This is our second visit - we visited a few years ago. The property/rooms are rundown and have not been well-maintained. But there are other issues: We got in at around 8pm on a Friday and could not find a valet or bell person to help us with our car and bags. Asked at the front desk and at the restaurant and the employees said we just had to wait. Zero sense of urgency or care. Overall, the employees do not appear happy to work here and most of them had any attitude. We wake up early. Went down to lobby to get a coffee. No coffee until 6:30am. Woman said to make coffee in room or go off property. Decided to find a Starbucks - but again no one at valet. The next day we went to the restaurant in the lobby for breakfast- we waited 45 minutes for our food, had cold eggs, and it was not cheap. Server had zero sense of urgency. Spent the day at the water park. It’s nice that it has a lazy river and wave pool. The kids had fun. But many locals buy ‘day passes’ and it was extremely crowded. We saved 4 chairs- came back and people had moved our stuff and put everything on one chair. We called for housekeeping at 10:30am before leaving to pool. Came back at 4.30pm, room had not been cleaned and we had no towels for shower, etc. If it was one or two things - ok, no big deal. But this weekend has been issue after issue, which sadly doesn’t make for a great trip. Next time we come to Phoenix, we will stay elsewhere.
