Phoenix resort

JoAnn M (Indianapolis, Indiana) on May 19, 2024

For the most part things were stellar. However there are a few things that could be improved. For a quality place the facial and toilet tissue is bottom of the barrel. The water park, spa, & several other amenities all close at 5 pm. Much of their business comes from conference goers. In which case the amenities are not available. If these ammenities were open later even 2 extra hours it would make a huge difference. THe staff were kind oand helpful The food at my conference was some of the best conference food I have ever had It is a bit confsing to get around in the beginning. However, after awhile you figure it out. The room was clean. THe bed was confortable. The safe is on the top shelf in the closet. I am SHORT. This means that it was really hard to reach the safe. The chair in the room did not look like it was safe to move to stand on. Either move the safe to the floor of the closet or provide a step stool. The closet was spacious. There was plenty of drawer space. Really most everything was amazing.

Not what I expected

kkep11 (Franklin, Tennessee) on May 13, 2024

Start with the positives: Very nice, modern lobby and check-in experience. Two guys there to take my bags and take me to my room on a golf cart. The Oasis water park is very cool if you have kids with you. Clean, well-staffed, lots to do there. The room were fine, nothing spectacular but clean and comfortable. The ability to text a number and have a golf cart pick you up is nice - it's a large property. The negatives: I was in the Mountainside suites, which is the farthest room complex from the lobby. It also sits directly next to, and overlooking, the interstate. The noise from the interstate is constant and impossible to drown out. All night loud noise. Be prepared if you get a room over there. It's also not the most well-kept part of the property, with exterior entrances and just a motel-feel to it all. I'm sure the experience is different if you're staying at another part of the property but here it felt very run-down. Locations seems fine - walked to an In-N-Out and felt safe.

Bloody towels

Kbyosko10 (Flagstaff, Arizona) on May 08, 2024

This was absolutely disturbing and disgusting and WRONG!! this kid busted his head open and we watched an employer carry bloody towels and toss them into the towel bin! I work at the hospital in surgi, and I can tell you right now, you never dispose a bloody towels to re washed in a public setting. Nope. It's sad to see this place going downhill. There's no care for cleanliness the pool decks are gross. Rooms are not getting cleaned as well they should be ..just half it

It was ok but we won't be back

KKibbey20 (Shoreline, Washington) on May 04, 2024

The Resort is outdated , and lacking as many others have mentioned. My husband and I stayed here mainly for the lazy river. The first day the water seemed pretty unclean in all the pools. The room was mostly clean, however, I did find items under the couch left by previous guests. The room was not cleaned daily, however room service did apparently enter the room while we were at the pool. They took the old towels and trash but did not replenish the coffee or coffee cups. We had to call the front desk to get more items. The food and drinks were the most expensive of any place during our week long vacation $23 for nachos and $16 dollars for drinks. We would have gone back to our room for food but there is only a small fridge, no microwave as with many other hotels. The water park is fun for all ages, slides do require you to be 48" tall without shoes. I can see were the kids would have fun but at the cost of food, not allowing outside food into the water park and lack of a microwave in the room we will find somewhere else to stay next time we visit Arizona.

Fun and pricey

Kari M on Apr 29, 2024

This resort is super fun. Yes a bit out dated. My main complaint is the price of the food and drinks. I have stayed at many Arizona resorts and this is by far the most expensive. Hot dog and fries at the pool was 26.00. Coors light 16.00. Water park was definitely super fun for all ages. We also had a great meal at the restaurant. Just know if you plan on having a cocktail around the pool and feed your kids some lunch its very $$$$$$$
