The water park was our reason for staying and possibly returning.

We chose the Hotel for two reasons - the Water Park, and the Tesla Destination Charging.
The Water Park lived up to its billing - our 4 year old was delighted with it.
There are lifeguards aplenty, and they were alert (didn't see any incidents, but they were not sleeping on the job).
For older folk, the minutes wait between riders on the Water Slides (not to separate riders, but to allow the landing pool to refill) generates long queue waits.
Getting to our "suite" was tricky - the buildings aren't labelled, and although the front desk helpfully supplied a marked up map, this is a large resort.
Our "suite" wasn't huge, and the ammenties did not include a microwave - perhaps to encourage you to eat from the overpriced vendors. We also had a power point that didn't work, and a toilet that had to be fiddled with to stop from continuosly flushing. So the hotel is a wee bit tired.
The destination charging turned out to be 4 "Level 2" 200V/13A bays. Free, but at 2-3 miles per hour charging, shared among thousands of guests, not what we were expecting. I ended up driving to a supercharger during the power outage on our first night - I assume somebody drove into a nearby utility (we saw it being fixed next day), and power was out for 90minutes odd, from around 2:27am. This included air-conditioning, and it got stifling, so I was suprised not to see other guests at the front desk.
Checking with the front desk remotely was impossible - no answer (from cellphone - the room phone was out), and telephone menu just went in loops or cut out.
Going to the front desk and there was a sign "back in 5 minutes", which was rather optimistic.
It took using the courtesy phone there, to flush out a manager, to get a power return ETA.
While I can't blame them for the outage, how they reacted to it, is very much on them.
Its expensive. But that's Phoenix, from the Phoenician on down.
Would we go again? Probably, depends on other family friendly options when next we go.
Poorly maintained rude staff, rude manager name Stefanie “ does not care “ would not go here. Very expensive.

Did a group rate 10 rooms on 6.25.22 Could have obtained a better rate w coupon. Rooms also were all spread around no keeping group together. Manager named Stephanie yelled at my wife told her she did not care. We had come here for the last 3 years. It was great in the past. Staff has completely changed over. Rude staff, wave pool was broken. Lazy river pool was green in spots. Experience was so bad will not be coming back. Horrible experience.
First class resort, first class hiking, biking, golf, lobby, patios and views.

Another visit to the Arizona Grand Resort. June can be a very warm month, but we had mostly pleasant days with a few very mild days and (almost) cool evenings. I had the most enjoyable day of golf of my life on June 2th. I was the last golfer out for the day with and planned to play only 4 or 5 holes... I played all 18 and thoroughly loved it. Everything is open again and running in first class order. The staff is everywhere keeping this resort clean, in first class condition and ensuring your every need is met. This is the 5th or 6th time we have been here in the past 12 months and I can't imagine staying anywhere else.

Half a star. We woke up to bed bug bites. There was no microwave. The staff were rude. Bedsheets were dirty and didn’t look like they were changed. Towels smelled musty. The pool wasn’t cool. The security guard was very rude. We requested services to a number they told us to text & never got a response.

Great resort!! The kids loved the water park! The wave pool and lazy river were their favorite. The rooms were spacious for a family with a living room, bedroom, and shower/toilet separate from the sink and mirror. Great service! The bell desk was very helpful.
