Exceptional Front Desk Staff

William I (Sanur, Indonesia) on Jul 19, 2024

Hyatt Scottsdale is still under renovation but don't let that stop you from visiting. The pool area has been completed and the rooms have been refreshed. While there are certainly some issues with the construction I have to give a big acknowledgment to the FO Manager who made our stay. Aurelia went over and above what would be necessary to make up for an issue with our booking. Extremely professional and courteous and easily the most memorable FO manager I have encountered in the last 10 years of traveling. Resorts are only as good as their employees and in this case, the Hyatt Regency has a gem.

Even during renovation this hotel did not disappoint!

jeremygonser (Dallas, Texas) on Jul 18, 2024

We have stayed here many times and even during the renovations, the hotel was still wonderful. From the staff, the food, the service at the pool, it was all perfect for our family vacation.

I wondered if I could afford to live there. It had everything I needed and a quality I could appreciate. The people had an energy that lifted the spirit.

Nightmare in July

Oron R on Jul 16, 2024

What a nightmare!! The entire place is under construction and not ONE single person who works there knows how to direct you where to go. The detour is confusing & complex based on “what elevator you use,” the signage is CRAP, and don’t even bother calling the front desk… the girls are sassy & condescending. Shows a lot about their staff culture. We will NOT be back.

6am major construction- do not stay

dmbbnl8 (Atlanta, Georgia) on Jul 16, 2024

I understand that the hotel is going through a renovation but to begin major construction work at 6am is absolutely insane. It sounded like a loud power tool was grinding away next to my bed every 30 seconds starting at 6am. Which was extremely disappointing as I was in town for business meetings all day/late into the night and was excited to sleep in for once as I didn’t have a meeting the next morning until 11am. But no. Impossible to get back to sleep with all the noise starting at 6am. Simply unacceptable. Not sure if I’ll be staying at Hyatts in the future after this experience.
