Enjoyed our time at the Marival Emotions Resort

My wife and I enjoyed our short stay at this resort. We especially liked that they had 2 main sections with one side more geared for children and the more active crowd and and adult quieter pool for those who wanted a more relaxed experience. We received the royal treatment from Roelof Smeding, the head waiter at the La Bamba restaurant. Thanks, Roelof for your warm and friendly reception. The resort was kept very clean and the beach beautiful to walk along. Overall, we had a very nice experience and would recommend the resort.

All Inclusive??????????

All inclusive????? Buffet was for sure the only restaurant included! For the other restaurants (3) was by reservation only. By 8:00 A.M reservations were booked. Ezequiel (Captain)from the Mexican restaurant was so rude to my family, very unprofessional, arrogant and very entitled. He said to my family “is up to me if I want to serve you or not” even though the restaurant was half empty. My family did have a reservation, however for some reason it was not on his list. He definitely needs to have a refresher on customer service!!!!!!! Pools and bar member were very friendly. Special shoutout to Brisa (concierge) and Javier (cook) very good customer service from both of them :) Marival was my favorite hotel to go to, however after this unpleasant experience I’ll never go back and I would not recommend it to anyone else. Limiting access to other restaurants and been forced t eat Buffet for all meals is not worth the money you pay for all inclusive!!!

We had a great time except getting into the restaurants is impossible and eating at a buffet everyday! The food at the Buffett is so so wasn’t really impressed. However; our server Martin made the experience enjoyable and we were never without a drink!

The beach club is our favorite part of the trip

Martin at casa Bella was absolutely wonderful. Ricardo, Javi, Victor and Edgar, who all attended us at the beach were extra wonderful and extremely helpful! We absolutely love all of them. We have been coming to Marival for 10 years with our families. Kimberly, who works in the Innovation office was as sweet and wonderful and extremely helpful!

Been here many times over the past 20 years

Special shout out to Dalia at the M&M bar. She always served us very fast and always remembered what each of us was drinking. Great service!! Only issues with this latest trip was related to the recently changed rules for making dinner reservations. It seems that not everyone knew the rules and/or could not explain what/how they changed. Caused confusion and frustration. Got good explanation from the lady in the concierge office and was able to use the specialty restaurants for the last 5 days of our trip (and the food there was great as usual).
